I've never been good at strategy games. I picked this up because of all the XCOM 2 buzz. First time I played this game, I had no idea what I was doing, my troops were dying left and right. Until suddenly my sniper decided to stop being an a*****e and started getting hits. Suddenly he became an eagle-eyed marksman. He became awesome. I started feeling awesome.

10/10 would feel like a father figure again

Have you ever eaten a food that looks gross but you just don't care because it tastes so good? Playing this game is like eating that food. It looks dated but it'll still give you pleasure with its addicting, rich, super rewarding gameplay.
