The DLC intricately ties up the trilogy together and serves as a farewell to both Rapture and Colombia. For such an ambitious ending it is sure is gut wrenching, there is no happy ending, not even bittersweet, just a hauntingly beautiful and sad end to Elizabeth.

The game: *tries to tell a compelling story and provides commentary on 1900s xenophobic America, all the while establishing an ambitious multiverse*

Hummina hummina hummina bazooooooooing! *eyes pop out* AROOOOOOOOGA! *jaw drops tongue rolls out* WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF *tongue bursts out of the mouth uncontrollably leaking face and everything in reach* WURBLWUBRLBWURblrwurblwurlbrwubrlwburlwbruwrlblwublr *tiny cupid shoots an arrow through heart* Ahhhhhhhhhhh me lady... *heart in the shape of a heart starts beating so hard you can see it through shirt* ba-bum ba-bum ba-bum ba-bum ba-bum *milk truck crashes into a bakery store in the background spiling white liquid and dough on the streets* BABY WANTS TO ♥♥♥♥ *inhales from the gas tank* honka honka honka honka *masturbates furiously* ohhhh my gooooodd~”

A masterpiece that is overshadowed by its predecessor. The game improves on almost every aspect of the original game.
You can now use both plasmids and guns at the same time, which makes for a really chaotic and fun experience, the improved gunplay also helps. Hacking is now quick and fun rather than the tedious hacking system of the original.
The story still relies heavily on environmental storytelling, which helps flesh out the Rapture we know and love a lot more. The story is quite linear with some minor twists here and there but nothing as shocking as the original.
The DLC Minerva's Den, however, is objectively the best Bioshock experience and possibly the best DLC in gaming history, it is how a DLC should be. That is all I will say as I don't want to spoil anyone who is reading this, but please, do play it.

Gameplay can be a bit repetitive but they make up for it by constantly impressing you with the game's absolutely stunning visuals. Story wasn't something to rave about but I enjoyed Lara as a protagonist. Best thing about this game is chilling with Jesus himself, more or less.
