Fun puzzle game, impressive how well it teaches its mechanics whilst using absolutely no text. Incredible visuals and sound design, new mechanics get introduced all the time so puzzles didn't get boring to the point I wanted to stop playing. Short game, but definitely one of the best puzzle games recently.

Favourite game I've played this year, very good art as well as really interesting game design. The less you know about it the better. My only advice is no guides, you will always figure it out.

If you like this game I think you'll also like outer wilds.

I think a lot of people would enjoy this game more if they realised there isn't supposed to be a right answer and it's more of a personality test kind of thing. The game even acknowledges at the end that it's placing you in unfair situations with no good resolution, and even implies that free will doesn't exist, which potentially could've been explored a lot more.

It doesn't shame you only to be funny or make you feel bad, I think it's trying to make you challenge your own decisions so you can make a choice that really reflects what you would think is the best outcome.

It does pretty well in posing what is basically the same question at different points but with different contexts. For example, saving 5 by sacrificing 1 is the same as saving a big city by sacrificing a smaller one, but you might find yourself taking a little longer to answer the second question after everything you've been through between the two.

Good game, but get it on CDkeys for cheaper. Not worth full price for the length.

fun game to pass the time, very long & repetitive, chill with something else to watch & a few spare hours. Story is fairly interesting, but it's basically impossible to interact with it until the end of the game and takes a long time to reach.

clunky combat, generally just quite difficult and unsatisfying to play. Very dated with multiple strange quirks like the inventory layout and crafting / 'combining'. Overall if you're thinking of playing this before sons of the forest, i'd recommend skipping it and not bothering.
(played in a group of 3)

By far the most well made representation of the backrooms in any video game so far
