Early Access Review
It's a fun little sandbox shooter, lots of room for improvement but for $7.50. This is not bad at all and has potential to be good for fans of historical shooters

This game is such a delight

Doesn't take itself to seriously, has micro-transactions but they don't feel invasive and annoying, it's SUPER fun to play with a friend and most importantly it just works as it should. No stupid matchmaking errors as of yet

If you're sensitive to flashing lights.....don't buy this.

Seriously, it's a medical hazard to play this

I was skeptical about a sequel so soon after the last game, but this one proved to be worth the time.

The roster of weapons are very different from Beach Invasion 1944 and the two maps are more varied . Room for improvements but then again I'm reviewing it on launch day. As of this post, some of the American guns have odd hit detection and aren't very viable

but what I applaud most is the tone and atmosphere, so many WWII games lately have tried to go to over the top with silly skins, quip machines or set pieces but this game presents it in a grounded way and therefore feels more authentic.

If you're expecting a grounded story or campaign you won't find that here, however this is a great tower defense game to play whilst chilling with an audio book or podcast.

Curious see what the devs have coming next

I would never imagine the devs behind Rambo: The Video Game would go on to do Terminator Resistance and this game, two of the best games based on a popular film franchise.

They nail the atmosphere, heart and soul of the Robocop film perfectly, the gunplay is so much fun and hearing the music is a joy. The easter eggs are just the icing on the cake.

Teyon, you did Robocop proud!

I wanted to love this game

King Kong is easily one of my favourite franchises ever, I saw all the negative buzz about this game online for months and still tried to remain hopeful it would at least be enjoyable.......I am a fool.

The glitches are unacceptable, I had to restart checkpoints numerous times cause Kong would stop moving and not respond to any inputs, the combat is dull and doesn't feel remotely fun, the roar to find your next objective is just tedious

This game is simply not worth it, I really do not enjoy writing negative reviews but I simply cannot recommend this. If you find it for $5...maybe but as a Kong fan...this is a major letdown

I really like the game, it is a blast and very fun to play but there are major problems at the moment that in my opinion really hurt this game.

Elephant in the room out of the way, the servers and matchmaking are horrid. I was able to queue with my brother and have two bots joining us fairly easily the last few days, but today I tried joining a public match and had no luck, then I tried to queue solo and couldn't even get a private match started. It's an unpredictable mess.

Gameplay wise there are improvements, like stealth feels a lot more fun, you don't need body bags constantly and can just move bodies no problem, lockpicking has more going on than just "hold F for 60 seconds" but there are some changes that aren't quite to my liking, for example the armor system.

I really hope Overkill get cracking on fixing the issues with the game, as someone who is a giant fan of Payday 2 and even RAID. I want Payday 3 to have a bright future and hopefully change this review to a positive recommendation

I didn't mind this game

Some of the jokes are a bit lame but a few work, the pacing is a mess (you discuss planning a heist at the end of one mission and you just do it the next mission, there's no build up)

but it's colourful, big open world with lots to do. If you get it on sale for a chill out sort of game it's worth a look

If you're a Kaiju fan, this game is worth it but with a few disclaimers

The first is that the Multiplayer is a bit dry with low player numbers, so if you're okay with mindless VS bot game play, then this is worth it

2nd, the game is a bit light on content don't expects hours and hours of unlocking to see all little easter eggs.

The Godzilla DLC is wonderful though

It's incredibly basic in terms of story and gameplay, sometimes the difficulty spikes are insane in places and the one liners are oozing cheese....

but it's good fun. Sometimes I just want a quick 3 hour long "go shoot some aliens" like experience
