The puzzles were a little easier than earlier Cyan games, which depending on your preferences may be a good or bad thing. I really liked them; I thought the puzzles were engaging without being frustrating, and I moved through them smoothly without getting stuck or fed up, which I liked. If you want really intense brain teasers you might want to go with Obduction instead. But for me, I hate getting hung up on a puzzle for hours, and it takes me out of the flow of the game play, so I liked the puzzles a lot.

There were definitely some very cool puzzles that were clearly designed with VR in mind, like an underwater one where you have to look for the solution in 360 degrees all around you.

As usual the worlds were beautiful and atmospheric and the experience was moody and engaging. The story fell a little flat, however. It feels a little unfinished, perhaps due to extra strain on the process from the pandemic? Still, I enjoyed myself, I'm glad I played.

This game was beautiful and surreal and I very much enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very effective and some of the landscapes were absolutely breathtaking. I know some people found that the puzzles were a little easy, but who wants to be stuck on the same puzzle for 3 hours anyway? The level of the puzzles was just right to allow the game to flow and the atmosphere not to get bogged down in one place for too long.

I have to say, I was a little disappointed in the narration. For a game that created such surreal and challenging imagery, the spoken portion was just plain and straightforward and uninspired, and the voice acting was frankly mediocre. If you're going to commit to a spooky, mysterious, surrealist motif, but you have a constant voiceover explaining in plain english what all the symbols mean, it does kind of pull the rug out from your whole concept. I can see the inspiration from Dear Esther in places, but Dear Esther was a literary game as much as it was a visual one. The narration left a lot to the imagination, and thinking through the story was a puzzle in itself.

I did still enjoy the game very much, and moments of it were absolutely inspired. I hope to see more from this developer.

Loved it. Short, but very good. I loved the creepy, atmospheric world, and the logic puzzles were challenging but not so hard that I gave up or got frustrated.

When I first started playing I was like, "OK, this is fun, but why is this a video game and not, I dunno, a puzzle book? You could make these logic puzzles work on just a piece of paper" If you feel that way, keep going, because a context does emerge and it is both funny and creepy. Vaguely reminiscent of the Stanley Parable. Very cool game.

I'm one chapter in, and I'm a little disappointed. Hoping it turns around.

The complete lack of narrative and logic leaves me floundering for a reason to be interested in this game. I can see the beautiful images and soundscape they've designed, and the bizarre, alien world is sort of intriguing in its way. But for me, without context I just can't maintain interest. The puzzles I've played so far haven't been particularly difficult, and they lack any sense of real logic or physics so it just feels like vaguely wandering around playing with shapes until something happens.

I want to like it, and I usually do like surreal, experimental games like this. They've clearly put some thought into creating something artistic and beautiflul. I can see how this could be a game for somebody, just not for me.
