The DLC is better than the base game. The pacing was awesome, and it didn't overstay its welcome.

Well, one thing positive I can say about this game is the overall atmosphere and environment. The asylum is beautifully crafted, the devs really put a lot of effort into making this place look real, however it all falls down when it comes to the horror element and gameplay. Even for its time, the "jumpscares" feel dull and are predictable. The gameplay is repetitive. Run from a scary looking dude, open up 2 valves and go to the next area and repeat until you finish the game. The hide mechanic is not necessary at all. You can easily outrun the scary looking dudes and do your objectives, therefore eliminating all the threat of dying / being caught in the game. The AI is piss easy to get around, checkpoints are plenty and there is no real penalty for dying.
The story is alright, nothing really remarkable to say about it.

This game is not spooky, challenging or fun. It's repetitive and boring.

This game is about a sad lonely REGULAR security guard that can't be arsed to find a cool job, like being a security guard at freddy's pizzeria. Lovely storytelling, taught me a lot about life and how to deal with my materialistic ♥♥♥♥♥ of a wife. Thank you for making this and I wish you luck on your future hentai games. God bless.

The best JRPG game I've ever played!
At first, I had doubts about buying this game since the JRPG genre isn’t particularly my bread and butter. That being said, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is good. From the outstanding presentation to the compelling story and amazing voice acting, this game had me captivated the entire playthrough. In this review, I am going to talk about the graphics and visual style, gameplay, and soundtrack.

Let’s start first with the way the game looks and is presented. From the stylized ui to the beautifully animated cutscenes this game is a treat to look at. The game’s look and presentation are inspired by anime and pop art, resulting in a visually pleasing experience.

The gameplay aspect of this game can be described as balancing and managing your social life and fighting in the Metaverse. During the day you have 2 options: hang with your friends to increase their confidant’s level to gain new skills or go into the metaverse to gain levels for you and your team’s personas to gain new abilities. In terms of difficulty, the only problem I had was at Nijima’s palace since some of her attacks can kill you instantly. The only thing that bothered me a little bit about the gameplay is the fact that personas can’t get any more abilities past a certain level, so it’s not recommended to stick with a persona you like too much.

In my opinion, the soundtrack may be the best thing about this game. The soundtrack consists of a mix of rock and jazz and it fits this game’s style and presentation perfectly. Even though there aren’t many songs in this game, and they repeat a lot, I often find myself humming along without ever getting bored of them.

As for bugs, I didn’t find any and I didn’t have any issues with the performance either.

In conclusion, I highly recommend giving this game a shot even if you’re not into JRPGs.

REAL SAMURAI USE A GAMEPAD
Like a Dragon: Ishin! is a spin-off of the Yakuza series that takes place in the Bakumatsu era of Japan, and while it's not the most polished yakuza game, it still manages to be a fun experience. Here's my review of the game:

After playing Lost Judgment, this game’s combat doesn’t feel as smooth. Parrying doesn't work half the time for some reason. Dodging doesn't always work because some enemies have the wide slash move and they will always hit you no matter how well you time your dodge. Despite the issues described above, the combat styles in the game still manage to be fun in their own way, with "Wild Dancer" being my favorite because of its style and agility.

The graphics in this game are beautiful and the attention to detail in the environments is amazing. The world feels alive, and since this is still a „yakuza game", there are plenty of charming substories in which you can partake. The game features a lot of minigames to enjoy, and the voice acting is really good.

The soundtrack is amazing, with my favorite song being from where you train at the Ginryu Dojo. Heat actions are dope as always, and the weapons have cool effects that impact combat. However, some people might be turned off by the amount of grinding required for said weapons and equipment.

Another thing is the introduction of trooper cards. Some people might hate them because of their unrealistic nature in gameplay, but I think they are a cool way to incorporate cameos from other Yakuza games. If you don't like them you don't need to use them to enjoy the game.

Overall, I had fun with this game and I am excited to see what RGG is going to release next.

Shadow of Mordor is a game with good combat but mediocre storytelling.

It's one of those games where you get lost in the mechanics and the story takes a back seat.
My favorite part of the game is the combat. It's extremely fluid, mesmerizing and it's easy to get lost in getting high-streak combos and killing orcs. I probably spend 80% of my playtime doing just that. As for the story, it is acceptable, the voice acting is good and the plot itself is mostly solid. For this kind of game, though, it doesn't really matter, as you're mostly playing for the combat and the atmosphere, because that's where this game is strongest.

The graphics are quite good for such an old game. The orcs are really well-designed. The strength and weakness system is good, it can change your play style when trying to defeat certain war chiefs. Some of the challenges were boring, but that is to be expected in hack-n-slash games.

The weakest part of the game is the ending, which is quite easy and consists mostly of quick time events.

Never played a rhythm game where you actually partake in the song. The only thing I want as an update from this game is a charting workshop where we can upload our custom charts.

I recommend it with all my heart!

The good:
Let’s start with the good. The visuals are stunning, the car models are faithful to the original (down to the little molding imperfections), the music is okay but gets repetitive after a while and there are a vast collection of cars to choose from. The livery system is cool and adds a layer of personality to your car.

The bad:
The physics. The cars have this random janky uncontrollable physics that can either launch you off to heaven or stop you dead in your tracks and some of the jumps can easily launch you out of bounds. There are also random difficulty spikes in the game, whether because of garbage level design, physics, or AI rubber banding. Another thing I don’t like is the car balancing. In my opinion, every car should be the same or at least this game should have vehicle classes. Right now there’s zero reason to ever race with 80% of the vehicles this game has to offer just because their stats are bad.
On the topic of the cars, the way you get them sucks. To get cars you need to buy the so-called “Blind Boxes”. It’s another form of the randomized loot box. First off, once you get some cars in your inventory it is near impossible for you to collect more cars because all you will get are duplicates of cars you already own. There is also a shop from which you can buy cars with the same in-game currency but you can only buy 7 cars and it doesn’t remove the random element. You still need to wait for your desired car to show in the shop. And if that is not enough, the inventory/garage management in this is tedious. There is no way to auto-delete/scrap your duplicates and the cars you have selected as favorite can still be deleted, and to top it all there is a max car limit you can have in your garage.

If you must buy this game, buy it while on sale.

A good remake of the original.

This review comes from someone that has never played the original half-life.

Black Mesa (formerly known as Black Mesa: Source) is a complete remake of the video game Half-Life. The thing I love the most about this game that other shooters don’t have is the atmosphere and the way you interact with the environment. The music kicks in at perfect times and enhances the experience immensely. The graphics are really pretty (especially the XEN level) and the voice acting is good. As a remake, this game is 8/10 for me. But as a standalone game, it still falls short in some areas such as the level design (wandered around for like 2 hours in chapter 14 trying to find the exit), random crashes, and some poor level autosave (got killed like 30 times before it reverted to an older save) also the framerate is poor in some areas even though I have a more than capable pc to handle the game. Something that I wanted to point out is that the final level XEN SUCKS ABSOLUTE ASS. The entire pace is gone, ton of annoying puzzles and it’s veeeery long. It ruined the entire last quarter of the game for me.

Rating 7/10
Would’ve been an 8 but the final level killed it for me.
