I've played many games, and L4D2 is as close to a perfect one as you can realistically get. The combat is great, the special infected designs and functionality is flawless, and every other facet of the game is just incredibly finely tuned. Definitely one of my favorites of all time, and the undisputed king of horde shooters; nothing measures up to this absolute masterpiece.

Are you looking for tons of content, a veritable smorgasbord of different play-styles centered around diverse skills & weapons, and an extremely streamlined combat system? If so, this is the game for you. All of these components coupled with an unbeatable price tag, Last Epoch is a bargain at twice the price.

Story 9/10:
The story is unique and multi-faceted, and brings a whole new level of depth to the RPG genre.

Gameplay 9/10:
Very satisfying, and comes with an endless amount of possible builds.

Customization 5/10:
While I am aware that character customization is not foremost on their itinerary, I would like to see the option to change a character's skin tone & hair. This is definitely planned, but as of February 8th 2023, this section is very bare bones.

Developer updates 10/10:
The dev team pushes out frequent updates, and clearly cares about their IP; Seldom do I see game studios communicate and interact with their player base as much as these guys.

Okay, this is one of the most exhilarating indie games I have ever played. The combat is great, the music is fantastic, and the art-style is extremely unique. I have only played for 6 hours so far, but it has already made me late to work. Keep this up, and definitely support the developers. I will be waiting in serious anticipation for new content.

Um, wow? This is truly an undiscovered gem. Cannot even believe how masterfully everything is brought together. The soundtrack, the visuals, the gameplay, everything is just stupendous. Hades completely blows games like 'Diablo' out of the water. If you're looking for a flawless, rogue-like time sink, look no further than this store page. You've found it. Has as much content as you'd expect from a $60 title, but at a third the price. I look forward to the different weapon combinations and abilities that I will unlock in the future! 6 hours and I am already hooked.

I highly recommend this Indie title, for it's much more entertaining and worthwhile than its triple-A competitors.

Wow. Just wow. This was really made in 2014? What an incredible time-sink this game is. Got this on sale for $5, and could not be happier with my purchase. -- Started using the "Classic" filter, and the nostalgia is unreal. Criminally underrated game. Don't listen to the bad reviews, they're just angry they can't even beat the game on easy.

This is probably the best, and most practical use of $10 on any videogame on Steam. Such a fantastic polished game already, and I am loving where it's going. I have absolutely no issues with it so far, and I already have 26 hours in it. Keep it up, dude!

Why would anyone give their hard-earned capital to a company that chooses to pander to leftists and LGBT instead of fixing their rampant bot/smurf problem? Oh, you don't like that you got a bot Yagorath that constantly throws itself into enemy fire, effectively feeding their ultimates while simultaneously removing a valuable player slot from your team? Okay, here is a "trans pride" logo. Enjoy!

This blatant virtue signaling exists in almost every mainstream game now, but most of said games have some form of balance/fixing to them. Paladins does not. They choose to instead focus all of their efforts into PR, and let the community writhe in ceaseless agony.

I was recently banned for idling in games that had bots in them. It's the only way I know how to boycott them, and I was still barred for it. Nice system you've got there.

Paladins was so much better in 2016 when your devs were based and actually wanted to make the game better.

Hi-Rez, thank you for one thing though. -- Now that I can physically SEE which enemies have pride flags attached to their profiles, it makes it much easier to know who I will be targeting that round.

This is BY FAR one of the best free games on the store. It's just fantastic. Animation is great, a little repetitive, but still very fun. Love coming home from work and picking up a few games on here, helps me relax and clear my head. 11/10, keep up the great work.
