You might think that this game is like every other Lego game out there. And to be honest, you would be pretty much right. But. Because there is a but (there always is). It was the first of this kind of lego game. Or, more precisely, it is the combination of the first two, the Lego Star Wars games (duh).
To those who played them separatly before, I say this : they took the first game, and got rid of what was infuriating to make it more diverse, like the second one is. And then they added the two games together, which means that you do not need to have a saved game of Lego Star Wars I to fight the Emperor with Jar-Jar and a young Boba Fett (I don't recommand trying that, btw).
To those who have played other Lego games, I say this : it is no open world. It is quite linear at first. And there is nothing original here : you play through the movies. But it is funny, it is easy to beat (you get through the missions in under 3 hours), and you will go through it many times if, like me, you are a completionist.
To those who have never played a Lego game, I warn you : if you happen to like this game, you might lose yourself in the Lego franchise. As I mentionned, it is quite easy to beat it "normally", that is to say finish the story mode. But that is when the real fun starts. You have much to unlock, discover, search... You can go back to any level to play it with unlocked characters, to look for secrets and secondary objectives. And that is without the bonus levels. Also : you see Vader show Luke a picture of him and Leia together to prove that they are related. Just saying.
In short, it is well worth the price. If you happen to have an Xbox controler, that is. It is dreadfull to play with a keyboard (no mouse allowed). You have been warned.

Sadly no. As with all computers, it only recognizes Xbox controllers.
