One of the best games I've ever played. I don't personally like Assassin's Creed games. Most of the ones I've played I didn't like. This one I will play over and over again. I'm not the only one. There are people who play this every day and rack up money and kills to get to the top of leaderboards still. Not necessary, but it's not like it isn't fun to be a pirate. Great game to play through. Great game to replay through. Great game to buy. I wouldn't even necessarily wait for a Steam sale for this one.

I would not suggest this for the weak of heart. There are some brutal things in it, and it is not for children. Aside from that, it is a very pretty game that was well done. I enjoyed the puzzles and combat to a degree. I enjoyed the character and her perceptions too. I actually felt penalized though for not listening to her inner voices, which was weird. Usually those are to instigate emotion, but I just ended up going with it to complete the game. This cost me some hits at times. It took me a bit to learn the controls, and with no tutorial, I had to into the keyboard controls to figure out what to do to not die in combat. I felt like this should have been explained from the get-go since the failure of the game is based on how many times you get killed. Anywho, it was fun. I ended up learning combat. I plugged my way through and even for a while there, thought the Darkness could have been Loki, intending to start Ragnarok through Senua. I think you could very well make a similar game to this involving the Greek Mythology, but have the "voices" actually be the seers commenting through the game.

I would love this game, except it has no replay quality to it. All it would take is a loot randomizer and the game would be great. My only other contention with it is the Kingdom aspect of it, but while many have a huge problem with this, it wasn't too bad, just kind of irritating for those who like to grind and level up. I sincerely hope that Pathfinder comes out with more games with these two things in mind as I enjoy the system greatly. I hope that they take this criticism and know that as a mod author for the game and a longtime player of Pathfinder 1E itself, you should be thanked for coming out with this. May your next one be refocused and even better!

Is it challenging? Yes. It's a pain to hunt down some of these animals, and extremely difficult to get a gun with good penetration, but that's what I like about it. Most hunting games you can master pretty quickly. This one is a grind and you actually learn the tricks of the trade. My only complain would be the sound. With rabbits, they are WAY too loud for how small they are. For animals near you, it's almost impossible to tell which direction the sound is coming from. A small indicator would be nice instead of spinning around repetitively to try to spot them before they flee. Other than that, the game is awesome!

Short but enjoyable. Made me feel like quite the detective as I was solving cases before conclusions were met, but also entertained me with the search for clues.

Early Access Review
Gameplay
First of all, Subnautica is a beautiful game. It truly felt like I was on an alien world. Nothing was familiar to me as a human sitting in my chair playing except for the feeling of being in water. New sounds, lights, and experiences are welcoming to the senses for someone looking for an adventure. If that's what you want, this is the game for you.

Pros
-Open world, vast with life
-Great lore
-Amazing biomes
-Unique AI that makes you feel like you're swimming with real animals.
-For an Early access game, it has very few bugs comparatively.

Cons
-Occasionally animals will pop up where they shouldn't be, but this is being worked on.
-As a person with arthritis, holding down the swim button for long periods of time can hurt. An auto swim button would be nice. Most people wouldn't have a problem with this though.

Needed Improvement
-The more lore, the more I feel I am discovering things, so LOAD it up even more than it is.
-The more unique recipes and biomes to discover, the better.
-Add replayability. Something should drive us to come back even after discovering everything in the game and completing the main storyline.

Conclusion
This is a great buy. It is probably my favorite game in my list currently, and it's not even done.

This is an aaaamaazing story game. It has decent graphics, great believable characters (not robotic at all, but animated and realistic) and it has a great tale. I would recommend anyone buying this. It is most refreshing to be able to tell when someone takes time to make a game worth something rather than just put something crappy out for a quick buck. This is a wonderful bit of refreshment.

Don't buy this game. It's not like any real simulators. You just click a couple buttons and it does it. It might as well be a free flash game.
