I am softlocked at the end, when I try to enter the sphere the game tries to start a cutscene that I have already resolved, and freezes.
Also, the auto-destruct sound persists at the entrance to the monastery even after dactivating it. Very annoying. I do not recommend this game.

Really not one of the best Artifex Mundi games. The story is very poorly told and some of the mecanics are quite repetitive.

Okay, so it's not BAD, but definitely not as good as the previous games of the series or others by Artifex Mundi. There is a lot of puzzle repetition, with a magic amulet that you get at the very beginning of the game, and we have no idea where it comes from or what it is.
That's the main problem with this game: the story. It's not well told, the chapters have almost no relation to each other, and you have no idea who the villain is. Apparently you're supposed to know him but he's just name-dropped with no introduction whatsoever.
The "chapters" consist of 3-4 scenes maximum. When you start a new chapter there is no way to go back, for collectibles for example. Sometimes there is a justification for it, sometimes there is none.
I don't know, it is definitely far from my favorite. I would not recommend getting this at full price. Maybe on sale if you are a big fan of this series, but even then, it's not like there is a real conclusion to the storyline, sooo...meh.

Meh.
Really not the best Artifex Mundi game I've played. It's alright, but not outstanding. One of the things that bugged me was the absence of fast travel using the map. There is quite a bit of back-tracking involved.

I was quite disappointed by this game. although the backgrounds are gorgeous, the character animation and voice acting are quite poor, and the story not that riveting. Basically you travel through different worlds attempting to find your uncle, and at the same time assemble an artifact based on elements (water, air, etc). But you get almost no back story on either you or your uncle, no idea of how and where you found the plans for the original portal you've constructed together, no nothing.
Some of the puzzles are quite frustrating, too.
Overall, far from the best Artifex Mundi game I've played.

The graphics are beautiful and the story and gimmick is quite nice, however it suffers from performance problems: loading screens for every other room, very unpleasant when you have to back track, AND it sometimes glitches, the screen starts jumping randomly from the game to the desktop, cannot be killed with the process manager, you just have to restart the game. It has already happened twice in less than two hours of game.
