Almost every monster acts like the werewolf from Scarygodmother and it's great.
Overall the writing is fantastic, and the gameplay is fun.

First couple times playing and I get brutally beaten by the first world.

It's way WAY to addicting. If you have the patience (and probably a good chunk of time) you'll probably want to get this game. Like, go ahead and by the game now. I'm not giving you an option, YOU ARE GOING TO BUY IT AND YOU ARE GOING TO LIKE IT!

Do you like building up settlements? Do you like losing? Do you like learning from the settlements you lost? WELL DO I HAVE A DEAL FOR YOU! Rise to Ruin is a very challenging game and requires a lot of attention to both your villagers and the enemies. You both have to manage food, water and housing and create defenses and mazes to stop the monsters from killing your villagers. It also includes other modes if you don't like losing as much as me. Then again I probably just suck.

Also the developer is very active among the community and is constantly making new updates for the game.

This game made me smile and it has so much satisfaction when you do something well. This game has so much to offer and compared to another game like this i've played it this game goes to reach incredible heights.

ok im sorta mixed with this game (mostly because i'm a noob), but if you are going to buy it keep in mind this game is one of those games that are harsh on noobs ( learn that the hard way), otherwise this game is very entertaining. countless deaths in this game.........countless....................

Starbound is a game like no other. you have the amazing different species selection and the amazing character customization screen. then you get your very own ship for every person you play as, it different for every specie. for every specie you get different armor and weapons. the beautiful music and background in this game is amazing, if your not interested in the game you should just get the soundtrack. the game has over 400+ blocks and decorations try fitting that in your house. on top of that its only in alpha so that means more characters (possibly), more weapons, more npc's, more armor, more ores,more ships, planets, decorations, and blocks, but if you still think the game is bad now i would follow it. this game has so much potential i can't wait to see what it becomes in the future!
