Would've enjoyed more if it wasn't for the massive pit of toxic waste it's in, let me explain why, the more you play and climb the ladder the less variety in weapons you will find, the characters matter little, defense feels useless, damage can be ignored if you use cheese weapons, the important stats are movement speed and attack speed if the weapon doesn't have ridiculous attack speed by itself (like spears and scythes), two characters with polar stats can preform equally with the same weapon, I can't tell if there is a real meta and what it takes into account, I simply keep on finding the same weapons, these "meta" weapons have one thing in common they can cheese you from the platform out of the map (like scythes and spears) or just hit you before you can hit them by outranging (like axes and pistols) or even simply locking you in a bad position without escape, all this jsut in simple 1v1. When it comes to 1v1v1v1 it can get worse its jsut a stupid mess where damage means absolutely nothign since the gamemode only cares about how many kills you've got, you could deal a whole 1k damage and loose to a bunch of people with 200 damage each which makes the gamemode a misery to play. Special gamemodes can be fun for a while but if you play them for long you will just get bored. The community is just as nice as the game, the double standards are just wonderful (example: using 2 signature moves in a row is spamming and bad, but using the same light attack to drag someone from one place to another with no hope of escaping it is perfectly fine), I for one don't consider the following a meta a problem, the problem is how broken is that meta and how proud people are of following it. Don't taunt people after you cheese them, it doesn't make you cool it makes you a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Don't call people spammers for using an appropriate signature while you are hugging the ledge they want to get you out as much as you want to get them out. Don't just grab a weapon use the same attack time and time again, signature or otherwise, while in the middle of the platform. Don't just sit in a corner waiting for your enemy the whole match, your feet are not glued to the floor.

Amazing how 2 years have passed and I still can't find anything new being used in rankeds, only the same stuff over and over, congratulations Brawlhalla I've never seen a game so stagnant. =)
