With regards to co-op; The store page lists this as clearly as any other game. There is no single player.
The controls may need to be adjusted, thank you for this and the animation lag is something that requires attention.
The music may not be changed, though your input will be considered. Any changes will be provided in announcements.
We have since come to recognise describing the game as a Metroidvania as a faux pas. Some people believed it was, others strongly not. With further analysis, it wouldn't be right to say so. This was not an intentional misrepresentation, more of an ignorant statement on our part.
The details on bugs is extremely helpful. It sounds like it may be a lag issue coupled with a glitch to produce this offset of bounding boxes....
We do appreciate that you have pushed through despite the bugs, and once they are fixed, we hope you will give the game another try.
