At it's core, Cat Cafe Manager is a really simple, but incredibly endearing management sim where you try to improve the lives of both your customers and cats. With a very strong Stardew type feel, you end up being a force who needs to mediate between a building expansion and restoring an old shrine for the sake of the cats who live there and a promise made to them many years ago. The story is extremely endearing and an overall good time, although it is paced a little oddly due to how the progression system works. To better list and make this a bit less of a wall of text, here's a couple broken up walls of text.

Pros
-Insanely cute story that's fairly light hearted and easy to lose yourself in
-A fun array of decorations to truly be able to customize your cat cafe how you want it
-Balances being an idle game and something you need to be involved in so you are as involved as you choose to be
-The cats are all so cute! They're each stylized in certain ways and YOU CAN NAME THEM
-Pleasant music and graphics that flow well
-Character interactions are incredibly fun! They all have unique personalities and stories that are incredibly fun to navigate and it feels like the writers provide very real conversations with a twist of humor. It doesn't just feel manufactured for the sake of forcing story

Cons
-It's definitely an indie game, the developer seems active in providing updates, but the game definitely has a few quirks or glitches. From what I've seen in the update logs for the game however, they always seem to be looking to address any issues they come across
-I love the music, but there's only one or two loops that you listen to the entire game
-Not a ton of reasons to replay aside from the love of cats
-You do eventually run out of cats. There's no system where the game auto generates them, so there seems to be a finite amount of cats you can either have in your cafe or rehome
-As of writing this review, the ending was a little lacking. All this fun buildup of your friends trying to solve the big final issue (trying to avoid spoilers) and then it's just magically over. You get a final message from who you've been working with to restore the shrine, but it feels like your impact is minimal and with a lot of unanswered questions about yourself, your family, and the town. I do say this hesitantly as the developer has stated there is another major update coming out eventually, so there's a chance we get some more insight as time goes on

Final Thoughts
I really love the game and I'm insanely happy a friend was kind enough to gift it to me. While it has a few flaws, it overall is a positive experience and a must have for anyone who enjoys light management sims and loves cats as much as they love decorating.

I only wish I could romance Carla-Lalla

Early Access Review
This honestly has to be one of the strongest early releases I've ever seen. While keeping all of the original interest and fun of the first game, they managed to make it even better as a new and improved entirely new setup.

Some of the great changes:

- The 3D worlds reflect a lot of the original ones when the game was in 2D, but keep a lot of the interest of the old worlds while offering a ton of new and interesting concepts through the randomly generated chests, drones, and teleporters.

- All the old enemies are back! Completely redesigned in 3D and looking fantastic, down to even their animations/attacks. Even the imps are actually really creepy while still being neat.

- All the characters have completely unique playstyles. After unlocking all except the Mercenary, the ways of getting them are fun and challenging and their kits are all completely different. While the Huntress is highly mobile, you still have characters like the Engineer who hunker down and use turrets while being a protective fortress. Even different still, you have the Artificer who's more of a setup. There seems to kinda be something for everyone for the most part.

- Bosses also got reimagined from the first game. Whether you loved or hated them, you won't be surprised to see the magma worm or wandering vagrant along with the others, although I'm fairly sure there are some new ones.

- All of the items in the game thus far (that I have unlocked) have pretty unique abilities and some fun distributions. You can have one run where you're literally living artillary, dealing double damage with half health and daggers flying everywhere or you can be the ultimate tank where you gain life by standing still with life steal for days. You have your standards like extra attack speed and crit and then all the rest to hop in.

For all the great in the game, there are still cons however. While I love playing this game both solo and with friends, the maps can get a little old. There are only so many and they're the exact same layout every time. Additionally the teleporter can be virtually impossible to find, sometimes getting stuck in mountains or being completely submerged except for a small spike. These honestly are my only serious issues with it, but it's overall a great game so far, especially seeing that they have slots for so many more characters and items to be released.

Child of Light is a beautiful game that has many elements of other types of games that have before it while combining them in fantastic ways. I received this game as a gift from a close friend and immediately began to play it without hesitation. I quickly fell in love with this game due to its adorable gimmicks and lovable characters. Aurora is a cute little princess who seems too good to be true, and remains strong even though the weight of the world weighs down on her. Let's get to a little list of positives and negatives!

Positives
- As previously said, the characters are cute and lovable, while all having their own personalities.
- The ability trees are very interesting and let you build characters in many different ways to create a team as you see fit.
- The DLC is cheap if you're interested and adds in some more colorful characters, which I only recently discovered.
- The storyline is sweet with amazing cutscenes that love to show off all of the hard work put into this game.
- The quests are all very direct which makes the game a bit linear (if you enjoy that) but also allows wiggle room if you like to do side quests.
- All side quests that I've found give really good rewards while not being too easy or difficult.
- The puzzles are simple enough while still being entertaining in the few places that they show up.

Negatives
- Aurora can often be seen as too picture perfect even if it is part of her charm.
- You can bypass a lot of companions if you aren't paying careful attention.
- Although the new game plus is fun and adds to the game, it's important to take into consideration that nothing changes except for the levels, which kind of dries the game out.
- Theres no type of multiplayer unless you hand somebody your mouse so they can be your little firefly friend, which gets boring quickly.

This is a decent list of some vague things in the game that are obvious once you play it a bit, although it should give you a good enough idea of whether or not you'd like to buy it. The game is personally one of my favorites and I adore the pleasing feeling of freedom you receive when you have the ability to fly around like a fairy while looking at the picturesque landscape of the stages you go through. This game is entirely worth it if you're a fan of fairytales, books, poetry, or platformers.

I won't go incredibly in depth in details that have to do with the game itself so take this into consideration, I simply intend to list out some clear positives and negatives that seem rather obvious to begin with but are important to know before you consider investing in a game!

Positives
- This is extremely like a platforming Dark Souls as most people like to point out.
- The game itself is honestly beautiful if you enjoy this type of art style.
- Although it's often proven to be extremely difficult, there's always an easier route if you just have enough patience.
- This is honestly what I see as the Dark Souls for when you don't want to actually play Dark Souls, it's like a Dark Souls-Castlevania love child.
- Combat is fast paced and doesnt let you relax and go completely numb while you play (this could be viewed as a negative)
- New game plus is an interesting feature that doesn't let you get bored easily and lets you do as you please without having an entire sense of been there, done that.
- Very few bugs from what I have found.

Negatives
- This can often be too difficult if you aren't used to pc games.
- Local Co-op is a bit too limiting if you ever want to play with friends, not everyone can just show up at your house and plug in a controller! (I have friends all over the country who are dying to play this in a group ): )
- Although some of the classes are really good, certain ones like the hunter seem too underwhelming to begin with even though they have a really fun looking concept and design.
- Character customization is pretty limited, although it makes sense for the type of game this is.
- There's absolutely no real direction as to where you're going, so it's really confusing unless you take the time to look up a guide. Side note: There are keys you receive from bosses so please don't think I'm ignoring that!

These are just a few of the things I've noticed that stand out about this incredibly unique game. I enjoy what story there is and I highly recommend this to any fan of platformers or any of the Dark Souls franchise (I've played 1-3). This game is incredibly original in the way that it works a lot of things out and even allows you to do combos with specific weapons. I always have favortism towards mage classes and this does very well in combining the idea that mages still need to use swords sometimes, this is just one example of a few ideas that the game incorporates. All in all, this is one of my favorite games and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to try something similar to what they normally know yet still so different and unique that it doesn't feel like a white washed game you see everywhere.

Let me first say, I haven't played this game much although I certainly intend to. This game has a lot of the basic elements an mmo should possess, yet it still has its fair share of positives and negatives.

Positives
- Entertaining combat system that has automated settings yet still require you to pay attention.
- Awesome and decently executed concept of flying on dragons or as seen in the beginning, a pegasus.
- Actually somewhat decent voice acting.
- The leveling system doesn't seem to be too difficult or too easy if you know what you're doing.

Negatives
- Very stereotypical as an mmo with very few things to differentiate.
- Unless you are mostly familiar with mmos, this is very confusing to begin with!!!
- The classes are a bit too limited, with nothing but the basics and nothing really that original.
- The game likes to stress that it has a fast pace combat system, although this is mostly true, it can often feel a bit slower than it should be.

So, I'd like to point out that I've obviously listed very few things but the facts remain as is. I personally enjoy this game immensely and it has a lot to do with my love of dragons. The character customization was fun and had plenty of options, almost being able to be compared to Black Desert in some ways. I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys mmos and intend to keep playing.
