I paid for the original masterpieces, San Andreas is still the best GTA, V is good but SA is still king. I was playing GTA SA when I found out about this and the visual improvement made me go for it. Also more reason I can properly review the game, I was just playing the original, I had it fresh to compare.

Now to my review.
First of all, this is not worth the insane price they are charging, even if it's a 3 game bundle, they already sold those games, pay the price of a mainstream release for the recycling that took them a week and a couple programmers to put together is a huge stretch. This is bulsh at it's best
Still I bought it and wont get refund, like I said SA is the best GTA and the ever so lazy graphic improvements kinda help. They did improve the visuals, no doubt, but they kept the old models, it's like they improved from a PS2 game to PS3/Xbox standard, and it really feel like they just changed the engine and had no work at all, like the engine did most of the improvements. The characters have fingers but only visually as their hand still moves like a block... Anyways...
They did add a few "features" but mostly in a very lazy and sloppy way. They added the weapon/radio wheel, which is helpful no doubt, unfortunately since I was playing the original I'm already accustomed to scrolling, but that was undoubtedly the best thing they added in DE.
The supposedly "modern aim" isn't what I expected, you still cant shoot forward from cars and the aiming is very bad on vehicles. Also they managed to make the camera control surprisingly worse, even at max sensibility the y axis is stuck af while driving, there is no camera control AT ALL while flying, you can't even fly with the mouse it seems, what is the point of having a much better looking city (most due to the increased draw distance) if you cant ♥♥♥♥♥ look down from the air to enjoy? Like, WTF RS?
Moving on, the controls were crazy in the original game and it took me many minutes to make the game playable controlwise and the DE is no different, if the Control key is set to C immediately suspect the key mapping is BAAAAAD. I had to remap almost everything, and I'm not sure wich keys were from the original wich were from DE, but I had to fix shift for sprint, space for jump, control for freaking crouch, like, those are obvious they are always those keys, and always will be, why mess those up? What is the fetish to try to move crouch to C? I't is not happening!
Moving on, the GPS. It was done by an intern in a smoke break, the routes are pretty bad, there is no toggle off, they aften do more harm than good, they mislead, they don't help at all. I get that new players like the QoL from a GPS and it is more noob-friendly, but seriously, nope, at very least there should be an option to turn the fk off that "feature".
What's next? Oh yeah, the missing content... Where TF are the songs? like, my radio X only plays about half of the songs it used to, how bad was the contract that allowed to put those songs into the original game that cant carry over to a remastered version? It is supposedly the same game, you bought the rights for it, as long as it's not a new game they should still be valid? isn't there a single educated lawyer in RS?
The achievements are a GREAT addition to the game, sadly Steam is missing quite a few, I hope they get it fixed eventually, like they have the taxi and ambulance, but not the cop one, feels pretty sloppy and random, not sure if that's on RS or Steam... and this brings us to the very worse issue here, cause the missing achievements are there.
Rock Star Social Motherf.ing Club. Why the hell do I need to log in to play? It is a single player game, all tree of them. If my internet is off will I be able to play? I should, but quite sure that sh.tty piece of software requirement will make sure I won't. I havent had this issue as of yet, but if I do, I'll be extremely pissed. Those are OFFLINE GAMES. FK Social Club.
There is one major thing they did right, even if out of laziness. They kept every mechanic, from exploitable stuff to annoying ones, including suicidal pedestrians AI, the weapons/collectibles locations, everything is the same and we love it that way. Even if that's probably because this is the work of 2 or 3 interns that they manage to capitalize with the minimum workload possible.

A single experienced Senior Dev could've done those in a weekend, so, charging that much is obscene.

Summarizing , get the old one, it is probably much more affordable and well worth every cent, get some graphic mods for free and you will enjoy it more.
This money-grabbing package? Don't do it to yourself, that's what it is, a sc.mbag move from RS, if they don't at least provide some updates giving back the removed songs, options to toggle the new "features" off, fixing the camera controls while driving and most importantly flying....
Anyways, not worth it, I'm just crazy for those games, don't be like me

edit: How could I've forgotten, the main reason for buying this, the screen mapping, like you can feel every square trying to aim in the classic game, this one has a pretty solid mapping, the aim is fluid as it should in any modern game.
Still not worth the obnoxious price, but... A huge positive point of DE in comparison to OG
Other new thing I just remembered, they added stuff to the garages, it is kinda good for immersion but they have hitboxes, so , some 2-car garages can't fit 2 cars due to random trash bins and stuff there... Nothing that makes much of a difference anyways, we have plenty of garage space still
Aaand another one, the completely mulled the dancing minigame, fk rithim, fk song, fk "challenge" it is just smashing keys annoyingly desynced with the song/dancing that's happening in the back...
Pedallyng got easier but you can't not pedal as if you're life is on the line, the first mission got really sucky due to this, had to wait for the normal peddlers... You can't chill pedal bikes anymore.
Another big issue they could've fixed but didn't add a damn key to lay down on bikes, having to tap "lean forward" to keep it in between is such a pain...

On sale? definitely, not full price.
It is a cool game, but surely not worth the obscene price tag outside sales, like, it is the price of RDR2 upon release, that is insane! This game is not 1% as polished and I'll do a full review.
It is a fun game, I like the characters, I like that it is an entirely new story, they are not locked by the manga/anime, so, yeah, it is cool.
The graphics are ok, about the same as Genshin or many other free to play games, it is worth 30% of the full price, nothing exceptional. I must remember it is much easier to make 3d characters from scratch than 3dfy 2d characters, specially with such "unique" style as OP.

What I said about not polish is that the game is very raw. the hitboxes are pretty rough, lots of inconsistency in movement to prevent players to access areas they shouldn't by certain "shortcuts" (it is a solution, no doubt, but an ugly on), the controls are pretty simple and totally feels like an indie small company, like, they mapped the mouse buttons to 1 and 2 to only after map them to where they should be, and the tutorial that could be pretty good is a complete mess due to that, like, you attack with LMB, ranged with RMB, not 1 and 2 like the tutorial, this is very sketchy, very first-game programmer vibes, which is cool, but the mainstream blockbuster pricing hardly disagrees

I got this game for probably 90% off and it is most definitely worth it, but there is no way I can recommend a game that usually costs 10 times it's worth... Even if you do love OP, there is not even close anything that could possibly explain the obnoxious price tag, like, this is no mainstream, and it is not about that, I'm quite sure it got a lot more spotlights in Japan and Japanese game designers have a serious flaw of not giving a Sh... for the rest of the world (like they could sell millions worldwide, but they don't even try, all that matters to them is sales in Japan)... No, the thing is the game is raw, the hitboxes are rough, the map is cool but simple, the commands are simple, even with the stances, there is not much room for personalized combos and stuff, it is exactly a "90% off" price game, not a cent more. really feels like fan made game at a masterpiece's price

Be mindful, despite what the company say this IS an early access.

The main reason for my thumbs up is that it has potential and deserve our support, Bethesda is a serious company and either them or the modders will see that this game goes far. This is easily the best lore they have and I utterly love Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Also this game does not deserve to be bellow Fallout 76, that is a failure, not this one...

Now about this game. It's all about the lore. As a space game it is extremely shallow, the ship combat is very bad, building ships and bases is overly simplified, they stupidly removed survival mode even thou there are a lot of traces still there and planets feel like they are about the same after a while, all overly explored, there is no virgin planet to be fount, all of them have a randomly generated human-made structure which is quite frustrating. And there are bugs, everywhere, NPC misbehaving, breaking the entire main-story, they where very quick to fix the exploits even thou after 10+ years they still exist in skyrim, but the game-breaking bugs are still untouched... Also the game is expensive as fu...

But I upvoted it anyways, and it is worth it. First of all there is the potential, the first elder scrolls kinda sucked in comparison to skyrim, the first Fallout the same, it only got to incontestable game of the year by FO3, the best IMO. NV added survival and this one must have that sooner or later, that was a terrible dev choice to remove it in this early release..

There is more, a lot more to it. The lore is truly amazing, most characters have names, backstory, sidequests, most citys have a purpose, the whole plot is very well tough, up to a NewGame+ that is perfectly in sync with the whole story, every NPC is interesting (except for Sarah, she is just an abusive deadra in a blonde body, I wish she gets deleted entirely from the game files, even thou I know she wont... Sadly...) they all have personality and stuff.

Moving on, while lore is what makes this worth every penny of the small fortune it costs there is more. Even if they are raw, shallow, overly simplified, all the space stuff is still there. You can explore, build outposts, ships, gather resources and stuff. The combat if lots of fun, just like FO without VATS. The potential for upgrading those features IS there, either by DLC or modding, even balancing may add to the game like, you can steal ships, but the profit is so ridiculous low... A scrapyard DLC would be epic, like GTA's car shop, imagine stealing specific ships for an actual decent profit? or for the parts, if we could own the place and store and repurpose those interesting parts of an otherwise crappy ship?

They did rebalance ship parts drop (doubled) and this is not just huge in the game, but also a sign that they are reasonable and willing to accept their mistakes and fix them to an extent. I have high hopes for survival mode.

Anyways, as a space game there are much and many better ones. But if you are even a tiny bit into lore, and wont just skip everything, then yes, go for it. Support this new metaverse. IT. IS. WORTH. IT.

Looks promising, too bad it's currently unplayable due to guaranteed crash on the very first fight after tutorial

Kinda tiny, but one of the extremely rare tasteful lewd game there is. They don't spill the beans right away like way too many games, you have to play a little to get the scenes, and they are tasteful, not disproportionately overboobed like most, well balanced character graphics, kinda cool gameplay, but, the game is tiny af.... it is great that we unlock characters and the scenes, but the game is tiny, it takes but a few minutes to unlock all... upgrades are cool and there is a gameplay, unlike 99% of the lewd games, too bad it is tiny...
It is worth the price, easily, the one bad thing is... Ok I wont say ot again, LOL, but it makes me wish so mich for a longer and more complex game with this level of tasteful lewdness and gameplay, too bad every other game is just a crapload of generic horny disproportionaly not hot waifus and basically no gameplay, just tasteles drawings of naked creature I barely dare to call "girls"...

I'm liking it quite a lot
it's in Australia alright, while I was just beggining the game I got attacked by a dog and a kangoroo, all that as I was talking to the old lady, LOL
What I find kinda weird is that it starts on summer, that's the end of the year, why not start in january? should start at Fall...
Another big thing I'm quite sure I don't like is that absolutelly nothing pauses the game, if you wanna go to the restroom that is wasted time, also it only saves upon sleeping, so even to skip back to the menu you need to sleep or lose the entire day...
I really hope they add a pause option, maybe on the menus, maybe even a special screen where you can't see anything... Any way to be able to pause and do stuff
Well, overall seems like a good game, lot's of stuff to do

Early Access Review
I bought this game fully expecting it to be an abandoned project, strangely enough I found some posts on FB dated from last weekend, now I'm lost... Is there hope?

Anyways, do expect the game to be a dead project, that way you may enjoy it a LOT, and not bother whining or feeling scammed. Just like I did.

I love the style, from Rune Factory (awesome, but insanely overpriced, ♥♥♥♥ really can't price a game) to Pokémon (collect, evolve) I love them all and this game have huge influence on both.

It is likely a dead early access, many bugs still, no hope for future stuff, but it is awesome and definitely worth the price. About bugs, as long as you expect them you are good, I haven't find anything more than kinda annoying.

I bought a dead game and I am glad I did. Not only it is pretty cool, there is always that tiny bit of hope that it will be back on track and maybe they are just busy fixing stuff they think is important (it is not... multiplayer, useless, console, I couldn't care less, too much wasted energy and resources...).

The worse thing about this game is that it is barely known... I had to dig pretty deep to find it, there are so many games that aren't even half as good as this one and have so much more fame... I wish there were more players, more content, more information... It could've been so much more...

If the DEVs are still on it I'll try to record some stuff I've learned and put on youtube to see how it goes

Great for old consoles, thou I'd prefere picking an individual emulator for each.
the reason is key mapping, many different controls map weirdly, I'm playing N64 (wtf'est control ever invented) and my main analog for walking and stuff is at home, del, end, pgdown; my arrows are the weird + most games just ignore and my numlock holds my C, whenever I try to remap the specific console the keys just stop working.... also put my "z" at 1
It's not the emulator's fault, some controls are just weird and not very tought through (mostly nintendo LL) it just can't map each as well as those specialized emu does

It is, however, a great alternative for those too lazy to find the best emulator for each console, or those who wan't to have them all in a single software. Also I should probably test emulation of newer consoles such as wii and ps3 or 2 (not sure it has 3) it might be great

the one missleading thing here is that I've read somewhere it works with switch, but it doesn't, it does not emulate switch games... you can run it on your n switch, but that is not the point..... When I got this one I was hoping for it, I have citra for 3ds to play RF4, and RF5 came out on Switch.... Guess I'll go for yuzu

Heavy, very heavy. Get your ♥♥♥♥ together and go for it if you dare. Be prepared to be moved in an unexpected way. It's been a while a game last touched me like this. A masterpiece indeed.
