I recommend this game to you if you like:
-Bad-a** female leads!
-Bad-a** weapons!
-Bad-a** music! (There are times it gets repetitive though, or gets stuck due to a bug).
-Great level design with nice visuals.
-Cheesy one-liners! (There is an option to disable them but idk why would you want to do that :P).
-Blow aliens to peices!

I love this game! But I won't lie, it could use some polishing. There are still some bugs here and there, and at times it is like "what did just happen? How did I die so quickly?". and excution animations look rather stiff (Although you won't get to do that much because you blow aliens to peices most of the time lol).

Also, it starts a bit slow, but gets better as you find more weapons and unlock more upgrades. I finished the game and still had a lot of upgrades to unlock, and most of side-challenges unfinished, so I started NG+ and I was having much more fun! For the purpose of my gameplay hour count, I'll say I didn't finish NG+, because I had other unfinished games.

**In short: Fun game with replay value and great lead character, but some rough edges. Worth the price imo.
