Early Access Review
It's a bad sign when you can bring galactic cataclysm and yawn. There are plenty of things you can do but it all feels meaningless. It's also expensive. If you ever see it for maybe $5 or so pick it up and have some nice warm apathy for an hour or so.

It's like the Sims but instead of people you make spaceships and instead of living a life you organize a fleet which then proceeds to murder aliens. There are glitches sometimes and custom battles always crash as of now but they just added a campaign so yay.

You would think that this would be the most boring game possible but then liberal extremists assassinate you because you developed a utopian society. Sure maybe we restarted Colonialism temporarily and forgot to get rid of it once we were done but still. Not cool. And sure maybe we temporarily legalized all drugs and distributed it for free to only turn around and tax the hell out of it later. There was no crime, free housing, and world class education. You don't assassinate the guy who gave you all that.

More difficult than Dark Souls with better animations than Assassin's Creed Unity. Train your dog, save the world. It is a bit limited in some aspects such as not being able to execute everyone and anything or raise massive armies to preemptively strike all the noble gits who sit on your land and sneer at you but fun all the same. A great Visual Novel for anyone who ever wanted to rule over anything.

A game the intentionally and accidentally makes you question your humanity. Build a prison. Build a fortress. Build a forestry lot and never build a prison. Can you found a prison that will stand the test of time? Can you make an efficient road gate? Or will you end up behind the very walls you architect-ed? Find out by buying Prison Architect.

The characters are adorable and the story is more thought provoking than anything on Network Television nowadays. The gameplay is like chess but slightly worse. You don't get a theme song with chess though so... Great game.

Do you like making simulated versions of your friends and/or celebrities inside a house you designed yourself? You do? Well that's the Sims. This game is a lot like the Sims but now your friends have been recruited into an elite alien fighting team and the house is now Area 50Awesome. If you enjoy Simulation, Strategy, and Emotional trauma you'll love XCOM. If you hate yourself get the mod called Long War. If you feel like being permanently scarred get Enemy Within. You will probably regret it but it's very fun.

The game is lovely it really is. If you can actually play it you will really enjoy it. There is a little problem of if you don't have a really really good mega ultra new 5000 pc you'll not really be able to. If you can get it for console do that as that seems to be what it is made for. Some people say the graphics aren't good and that uplay is annoying but if you've ever been to Chicago it looks to be honest better than Chicago and if having an extra service is make or break for you than you're likely not going to change your opinion based on a review so stop fooling yourself. uplay is insignificant and can be ignored. The hacking is fun, the driving is fun even in extreme lag (ending up in the middle of a bistro trying to use the hide in car feature as cops surround you and you think to yourself "they don't see you it's fine just keep hiding" is priceless), and while the main character is slightly bland and the story has been done it's equal in quality to any non-groundbreaking network drama (they get high rating than the groundbreaking ones so you as part of the masses might enjoy it). Anyway the game is nice and really that's all that matters.
