I wish I could experience the game for the first time all over again.

Buy it already, you owe yourself that.

The game might have had a rough start, but it's still Payday and still very enjoyable.

Looking forward to what this game will become in the years to follow!

Here it is, the final heist of Payday 2, and the finale of Texas Heat, it's been a wild 10 years.
This is probably one of if not the best heists we've ever gotten, and the heist track (On the Road) makes this an amazing send-off.

See you in Payday 3

Early Access Review
Gentlemen, I like ULTRAKILL.
Gentlemen, I LOVE ULTRAKILL.
I love revolvers.
I love shotguns.
I love nailguns.
I love Cybergrind, Sandbox and Secret Levels.
Genocides in Limbo, Lust, and Gluttony soon to follow, Greed, Wrath and Heresy. I love every kind of war that can occur in Hell.
I love blasting demons to smithereens with a Projectile Boost.
My heart leaps with joy whenever a Filth is tossed high into the air and cut into pieces by a well placed Core Eject. And there is nothing like V1 using the Malicious Railcannon to destroy Maurice and any enemy next to it. And the feeling that comes when a Streetcleaner runs screaming towards you, only to be one shot by a Ricoshot to the back, is such an exquisite feeling.
The sight of parrying Swordsmachine with its own shotgun is an irresistible pleasure. And there is nothing more arousing than the sounds made by fodder enemies dropping into the void like flies, screaming in agony as I just watch them fall to their death.
When a group of pitiful Cerberuses try to kill me in a small room, only to be styled on with the entire arsenal this game provides I'm in ecstasy.
I love it when I pin an enemy with the magnet of a Nailgun and fly around the arena on the rocket I shot, only for it to come crashing into them. It's so sad when reach the end of a level while attempting a P-Rank, only to see that I was a second too slow.
I love the feeling of repeating a boss fight again and again, slowly learning the ins and outs of it before ultimately styling on the bosses that once gave me such a headache.
Gentlemen... All I ask for is ULTRAKILL, a ULTRAKILL so grand as to make Hell itself tremble. Gentlemen, I ask you as fellow gamers in arms what is it that you really want? Do you wish for further support of this game as I do? Do you wish for a merciless, blood-fueled war on Hell itself? A game whose fury is built with Projectile Boosts and Rocket Surfing and Ultra-Ricoshots? Do you ask for V1 to sweep in like a tempest, leaving not even the lowliest of Demons to scavenge from all layers of Hell!?

ULTRAKILL is my favourite movement shooter/puzzle/visual novel/horror/platformer/fishing game.
What are you waiting for? Why are you still reading this review?
Buy it already, if you like movement shooters you won't regret it.

Incredibly scary game, you won't last for long, especially if you keep the flashlight on and throw some sandwiches around.

So far I've played with every weapon for a bit and can say this - they deserve slight buffs, at least in the total ammo department:

The RUS12 Angry Tiger Revolver is a fun weapon and the second AP pistol we've ever gotten. However, without at least 5-10 more bullets it feels rough to use in higher difficulties, especially when medics save the enemy you're trying to kill.
The KS12 Urban Assault Rifle is a bit of a weird one. It feels like the lovechild of the Krinkov SMG and lower RPM ARs. I can't quite put my finger on it but as it stands it's finicky to use. Also would have loved to see the Burst Barrel actually make the AR fire in bursts instead of full-auto.
Lastly the Kang Arms Model 54 Pistol. Honestly it's my favourite part of this pack as it allows you to have a secondary you can fall back on if your primary is out of ammo and you can use it as a pretty decent 5/7 replacement if you can live with its drawbacks. Also this is one of the few pistols I wouldn't run akimbo if you have a bad trigger finger. I'm not sure just how much damage the underbarrel does on DSOD but from my DW run it feels like it will either do well on specials that aren't dozers or it's just too finicky to use.

The charms are cute, albeit a little small which can be an issue for those who play with a high FOV. They're still a great addition and I hope we'll get more of them down the line and in Payday 3.
The new colour patterns are all pretty solid, with Fight Cat and Pink Cloud, Flying Tiger being my favourites.

Overall the pack is pretty good and if you want to support the devs it's a no-brainer. The weapons are fun (even if the ammo economy can be frustrating at times; which is honestly my only gripe with them) but I highly suggest you don't run two weapons from the pack at a time or else you'll find yourself with no ammo quite often.

It's Lo-Fi, it's relaxing, it has rain.
It's perfect for studying, taking a break from everything or when playing a relaxing game like Minecraft.
It's free.
What are you waiting for? Give it a go.

UPDATE: The two new DLCs add a couple of tracks which bring a breath of fresh air into the playlist. Highly reccomend them.

I got the game for free because I owned the original.
If you liked the first game, and want to feel MORE powerful, then I highly recommend you try the sequel.
