Broken shell of a game.... Do not buy!

Clunky and just a shell of the former game. Do not buy this... it is as clunky and as the old one but it has a new pvp lobby that is a shell and no AI skirmish.

Blizzard, who? The true successor to the Diablo Series! Amazing game with so much content and so many possibilities! The king is dead, long live the King!

It was queuing simulator, now it is better so I don't have to queue to play a buggy, shell of a game, Mobs that are invulnerable, repetitive quests and overall lack of something meaningful. If you like chopping trees, hunting and mining until there are no brain cells left in your head....
I would request my money back but the 30 hours of queuing, made that impossible...

I have played this game for more than a year now and have seen it somewhat evolving. I was very excited at the opportunities presented more than a year ago but after months of development, updates and hundreds of hours of play time, I might say that the prospect of a launch in two months makes me wonder if it is really ready or if the team has done enough.
There are numerous mods that overhaul the game completely while the developer has merely tuned the game since I picked it up a year ago. I still love the game and would recommend it, but I am somewhat dissapointed in how much content was added over the course of a year.
Also the latest update brought up numerous bugs that never existed and makes me wonder about the future of the game.

Update: The game seems to be broken now as I am spending serious time in finding any companions. Towns have no companions to recruit and if there are some, it is the same one everywhere.... Both Campaign and Sandbox are now broken.
There seems to be a glitch where every time you defeat an enemy party they seem to be overburdened with thousands of units of grain and they move at minimum speed. Tried 3 times and the same glitch appears.
Most likely the dev team moved to a different project already....very sad to having to depend of the modding community to fix a game that I have paid for, for free....

As an old player of Paradox games, I would not be able to recommend this game as it at the moment... There is no new concept, not a single new gameplay idea and yet it is disappointingly bare and broken. I guess that we need to wait for the 20+ expansions for which we will have to pay as for a full game in order to be able to enjoy this mess.... It is the last time that you have conned me Paradox...the last time...

1st Review Update: A month after release, there are tons of mods and Paradox did not even release an update... Fool me once Paradox....

2nd review update - after nearly a year and 100+ hours of gameplay, I can say that it is somewhat playable... if by playable you mean starting a game and half way through being forced to finish it as the game has no long term playability... it just ends informing you that you have lead your empire on the path to greatness...
I guess I will have to wait for the first paid DLC in order to be able to lay the game and play it properly..
Steam, please rename this game : Buyer Beware!

3rd review update...Decided to give it another try, still broken, still barren, after all this time. Paradox, there are modders that have made complete overhauls for this game and your team cannot even fix this broken mess.

Still plagued by cheaters! Nothing new....
