Early Access Review
This game is amazing.
At first I thought it's going to be another Factorio, but hell no.
The concept is way different from the start - in Factorio, you play as a single person, here you have to take care of a colony. Industry is the primary concern, but not the only one - you must feed, grow and take care of you population too.

This game is still in very early Alpha stage, yet it contains more features and fun than many already finished games. The tech tree is astonishing. The options for industry are so many, I am unable to even explore them all at once. You can literally make different play-throughs based on which industry path you choose.

Performance lacks a bit, but the game is very playiable even with over 100 cars and many buildings. This is simply amazing for an Alpha build. This game has insane potential to, if finished, and if finished strong, to compete with Factorio itself - which is funny considering both games are from Czech developers. :-D

Tahle hra je proste boží. 10/10 and I also bought the supporter's DLC. I want this game to thrive and unlock its potential!

Review 1: after ~25h of game - recommended
Amazing game.
The feeling of Hogwarts is amazing.
The music is amazing. I just feel like I am in the castle myself.
I only wish I could be there myself in person, because I'd love to experience it with my other senses too.

Game so far has a casual story, nothing epic, but I am in like just 25% or so, so game length is pretty damn good. It has not very hard to master mechanics, but I do play only at Normal and there is also Hard difficulty - but I myself am more of a casual player. Battles are neatly made though even on Normal diff. It's not just button spamming, you have to kinda think in battle, especially since enemies use various shields. Also combos with spells are very satisfying.

I'd give this game overal 8,5/10, more if the story will satisfy me more towards it's end.
If you love Harry Potter and have a taste for some more casual RPG, don't hesitate. It's damn good. :-)

Review 2: after 60h of game.
I had to change my opinion unfortunatelly.
The story became extremelly predictable and frustrating. Without any spoilers - no matter what you do/chose, it isn't reflected in the world. The game has linear story and only one outcome.

Game mechanics are very repetitive, to a point where it was painful for me to grind the last level needed to finish the game. I literally had to play through physical pain.

The Unforgivables can be used freely. What a sham. No repressions, nothing. I've been Kedavring things left right and center, no one gives a damn. Not even professors. *shrug

The ONLY thing you can loot is CLOTHING and stuff to your Room of Requirement.
I am not interested in stuff at the Room of Requirement, so this WHOLE segment of game eluded me a lot.
I won't reflect this in the review, because that is no one's fault - I simply don't have the taste for such mechanics. So no offense here and also none taken.

Overal, this game dropped from solid 8,5 to a mere 4/10 for me. :-(
And it's a real shame, this game had amazing potential. Too bad.

y'all need to stop whining about price.
if you can't afford it, don't buy it.
world is in economical turmoil, inflation rising left, right and center and y'all need to deal with the prices.
everything is going to cost more.

Yeah I like this game, although I haven't spend much time with it yet.
I feel like I was able to explore everything there is to offer in 17 hours.
Which is not bad, considering this is still Early Access and I bought this game on a Summer sale.

I'd like to give it 6,5/10 for now, but simply because I believe there is a lot of the content lacking currently. Otherwise it's a nice and quite niche little game with a big promise of more fun in the future.

Let's hope the devs will deliver.

I don't recommend to buy this game.
This is basically Xenonauts 1 with better graphics, but so badly optimized my computer almost caught a fire during the play - and I played only for an hour.

There is nothing new in this game. Annoying scientist, gurl operational, me, as an old-ass-fart of a Commander (ye great roleplaying lol)... It's all the same, just polished. This looks more like a DLC or a remaster than a whole new game (and I know it's early access).

Also the price - 40 Euros for an EARLY ACCESS GAME is basically a theft to be honest.

Just nope - 4/10 and I request a refund after 65 minutes. Bye.

This is a proof that EA can not only make great games, but great expansions also.
The main game (Tiberium Wars) was amazing, and they made it somehow even better here, with adding a lot to the lore of Tiberium world, fractions and Tier 4 epic units. I don't know why EA doesn't treat their other projects like this. They CLEARLY can make great games. I'd love to know what's the problem with EA overall.

Compare this to C&C 4, which, honestly, had only great soundtrack, and you'll know what I mean.

I love this DLC! Price is good, Leader rewamp is great, the only limiting factor is that now I need to learn how to balance leaders yet again :-D But I am up for the challenge.

Just one negative thing for me - there is no new music with this DLC. :-( But that is understandable.
Otherwise, I love the new civix and tradition trees, Army builder and new screens (like putting fleet manager and fleet designer together, Edicts and Policies, the new Government screen etc). You just need to get used to it, since things are quite a bit different.

I'd give this DLC 8.5/10 (not counting the missing music).

Edit: If the purpose of this DLC was to make me care about my leaders - which I never did before, they were just an asset to me - it works 100% for me. Now I see them really as leaders - people with stories and purpose within my empire. Great rewamp.

I feel a NEED to recommend this game.
So far it's 10/10 experience for me.
I love the atmosphere, music, visuals, gameplay, the TENSION, the feeling of impending doom and that EVERY decision I make can either throw me towards that doom or help me avoid it for anothe cycle.

IF you're interested in brain food, love rogue-like games and tycoons, this one is for you.
But beware, brave Administrator! The Universe is not as forgiving and carefree place, as they told us in the Sci-fi... oh no, it's not. You WILL get your ass handled multiple times here. Also it's just hard being constantly 100% focused and check if everything works correctly, so I'd suggest playing by 3-4 hour sessions at max.

This game is amazing! 9/10
I wish I could invest more time in it, because I love it.
But I can't, because real life (work and humans and sleep and ♥♥♥♥) and also because Stellaris.
It feels like ~190 hours are not nearly enough to exploit everything this game can offer.

And don't get me started on all the mods that exist with this. I literally tried only two with a friend of mine.
But I am certainly not done with this game, hopefully I will double the played hours before I die.
