It's not that it is bad in itself. But it feels more like e Mod of Civ V than a stand alone game.

Some ideas are really good:

- Quests
- Affinities
- More interactivty with the territory (tile improvements, orbital layer).

Problem is, every of the above mentioned item is just not developped at a satisfying grade. Quests are mostly silly and without real consequences, affinities gives you acces to a limited range of specific units...which are very few and not so specific at all and orbital layer is almost unused.

If they could take this game at a level of details comparable to Civ V's one, it would be another masterpiece. As for now, it is just a meh.

Very good Freelancer-like spaceships game.

Very nice graphics, playability and effects. A lot of ships which are actually different one from one to another. There's not just the boring small-big-bigger-huge mechanics mixed with the Light-Heavy-Trader axis. With different stats (cargo load, soldiers, weapon spots etc) the choice between one model and the other seems to have some meaning.

Trading is a bit basic, although the map is very large and there are a lot different goods with different degrees of "rareness".

Main campaign not so exciting but with some twists and cutplay more than decent.

Big plus: the company is still supporting the game with fixes, adds and patches. Without asking you for more money.

Much wows, so honest, many pleasant.
