Early Access Review
Early access can be a massive turn away for a lot of games here. A lot of them end up receiving minimal updates and stick in EA forever. But Sons of the Forest is not one of those games. It is very clear that Endnight has a distinct vision and direction that they are working towards. From day one, there was a countdown in the main menu for the next update. Each update has had meaningful content and changes that only improve the experience and they are very open with communication, which is increasingly rare in the industry. SotF is unique and stands apart from the rest of the copy/paste survival games we see. There is a clear identity here. Visually, this game is really beautiful and builds a great atmosphere. The base building is unique and requires you to plan out your base. The exploration feels rewarding as you randomly stumble upon a cave or a camp, maybe even a new weapon. I really can't recommend this game enough, especially if you are playing with friends as the co-op is just an absolute blast. Overall, fantastic game from a dedicated team with a clear vision and regular updates. I would highly recommend giving it a shot!

I cannot in good faith give this game a positive review. To get this out of the way, I do enjoy playing it in its current state. The work that DICE has done on this game recently is commendable, and they have done a fantastic job of turning things around. But the state of the game at launch and the absolute disconnect from what makes Battlefield so special to so many people is unacceptable. I have been playing Battlefield since BF2, and I have enjoyed every single one of them (even Hardline). But with BFV and 2042, it is so clear that all of the decisions for this franchise are being made by EA who put profit before player. They do not care in any capacity what the community wants, only what makes the shareholders happy. We have been burnt by EA so many times on this franchise, and it needs to stop. I do not blame the poor quality of this game on DICE, but rather on EA for wanting to just copy from what's popular. As a community, we deserve better, and just because this game is playable now, does not excuse what we were delivered. ♥♥♥♥ EA, just let DICE make a game.

An absolute must on pc, especially if you have ultrawide. A stunning experience with a solid story and addictive web-swinging.

This game has no right to be as addictive as it is. Throw on some music and launch this, boom there goes 5 hours

Destiny 2 is a game that I had no interest in at launch. A while back it was being handed out for free on Battle.net and so I picked it up and played for a while. It was fun enough but the progression felt too slow so I didn't play too much. Then I saw it was coming to steam as a free to play and decided to give it another go. I put 50 hour within the first week and I regret nothing. The change from player level to season level is a welcome change as the game gives you some nice rewards for leveling up. Switching the starting light level to 750 allowed me to feel like I could access a good amount of the content available but it gave me a realistic goal to access later and more difficult content. I like not being thrown straight into the campaign, but rather having the option to play through it whenever. Finally, I think the gameplay is really fun and easy to get into. Playing with friends makes the game more fun but I put most of my time into a solo playthrough. Overall, Destiny 2 is a really solid experience and it's free, so there really is no reason to not give it a try. ( I do not own any of the expansions at the time of writing this review)

Doom 2016 is what every reboot should be. It delivers fast and fluid gameplay without abandoning what made the original dooms so unique. Overall, this game is a must have for all fps fans.

This is a hard game to properly review. I bought it a while back but got a refund due to how slow the intro is. An hour into the game and I hand't experience combat aside from an optional training that only teaches you some of the basics. But KCD came on sale again and I decided to give it a second chance and stick with it. And oh boy am I enjoying myself! The map isn't huge, but there is actually a good number of things to do and a lot to explore. I personally find the combat to be fun as long as you aren't fighting more than one person at a time. The biggest bit of advice I can give is get the mod that allows free saves. I don't know why anyone thought it was a good idea to have a consumable as the save system, but it is annoying because you find yourself not saving as to not waste all of your save, then you get ambushed by 5 bandits and they just gangbang you. Or your game crashes, one of the two will happen. Overall, it's hard to get through the begining, but it is worth it in my opinion.

This game is about as far from a full release as it can be, yet it is no longer in early access. Why? It is so poorly optimized to the point of almost being unplayable. It is extremely slowly paced, everyone just hids and head glitches. No one plays aggressively making the combat really dull. Honestly there is very little to like about this game, except for how guns handle and sound. Those are the only redeaming qualities of this game.

Very niche game, but extremely satisfying when you finally get that gold medal. Doing the stunts just feels so damn good, but get it when it is on sale. Don't worry about buying the gold edition because you can unlock most of the stuff just by playing and getting the in-game currency. Takes a while but it's worth it. Also you can be a snowboarding t-rex.
