NVIDIA PhysXをアンインスコし最新版PhysXを入れなおしたら無事進めることができました。お騒がせしました。

careerを選択するとフルスクリーンの画面が小さな黒ウィンドウとエラー警告に変わり、終了を促され強制的にゲームが閉じてしまう。原因分からず。。。
