This is my objective rating of all games (sort of)

1. Life is Strange (2015)
Simply the best, though not my personal favourite this one sets the bar pretty damn high. It has great characters and location settings. A rich story and the protagonist "gift" does not feel as confined as later edition in the franchiche.

2. Life is Strange 2 (2018-2019)
My favourite, I enjoyed the episodic release however it was to long in between. 1-2 weeks gap would have been fine. It got an feel of exploration and adventure, a great road trip. I wish our main protagonists would meet up with the ones from LiS1 at some point in the franchise. Protagonist "gift" was limited to certain moment and that I did not like that concept. There must certainly been way to write around it, giving us some leeway.

*The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit* (2018)
A side story, but it's really good! Very short, I don't want to spoil anything, but if you want the perfect experience, PLAY this after LiS2 first episode.

3. Life is Strange: Before the storm (2017)
PLAY this before LiS1 if you have the possibility. It went deeper into some characters background and really add to the lore. Certain parts really hit the high notes. It's a prologue to LiS1

*Life is Strange: Before the storm - Farewell (2018)
As the main game, this bonus episode gives some insight in the protagonist background in LiS1, especially on their starting points. A short but cute edition.

4. Life is Strange: True Colors (2021)
A nice setting, and got the looks. Interesting characters, but the game is way to short. I felt it had something going on, and then just ended.

-Life is Strange: True Colors Steph's story (dlc) is exclusive to Deluxe upgrade and Ultimate. I think this is a really bad idea. I won't buy it, unless it will be released as buyable dlc, DO NOT promote this kind of business model my dear LiS fans. I am fine with deluxe and ultimate regarding to cosmetics, earlier release, but not exclusive stories.

5. Tell me why (2020)
Standalone, yet still worth the experience. Quite boring characters, but the game is artistically interesting. It has its moment here and there. Not LiS, but has the same vibes.

*I haven't bought the remastered edition because I've already got an great experience of these games when they were first released. As I understand nothing important was really added to their ReM either? I would rather see longer games, more customization, less restrictions and perhaps make mini ingames ranked? I would like to have an connection ingame to other players in some way other than gamechoice summary. Maybe use your phone ingame to contact other players on route? Who knows..
