Goose/10 Would recommend.

I've played this game a lot. As of this review, I only have 3.7 hours played on Steam but in that time I speedran all the achievements in my save. I played the game when it was released on EGS originally and in that version of the game I completed everything on the to-do list in all three saves. It's an absolute blast.

The mechanics are simple and the game is very forgiving. You can pick stuff up with your beak, flap your wings, run, and crouch, and honk. You will have to use every mechanic in your playthrough but nothing on the initial to-do lists is overly difficult. There are no time limits and there is no fail state. You can get chased out of areas, have your progress undone by the NPCs, but you are always able to keep going.

Furthermore, the entire game's tone is playful (mostly) harmless mischief. You will have some great laughs playing and feel genuine satisfaction when you finish some of the objectives. It's overall a blast.


Once you finish the main set of todo lists the game will provide you with two new todo lists that involve traversing the entire game world to complete, using the mechanics and manipulating the NPCs in fun and interesting ways. Some of these are a lot more challenging and tricky to figure out but still very manageable and satisfying to complete.

The final set of tasks is to complete the games initial to-do lists in under six minutes. These will really put your skills to the test and require a lot of careful planning and good timing to accomplish. Don't mistake these objectives for competitive speedrunning though, with a bit of planning as described and a solid grasp on the mechanics everything should be doable for the average player... after enough attempts.


All in all, a very fun experience, highly recommended. I haven't even tried the coop mode yet either, I'll bet that's a lot of fun. Please play this game!

DISCONTINUED AND BROKEN

Don't buy this. It's been discontinued for years and many features are broken and don't work as intended. It's also overpriced and Streamlabs OBS as well as many other alternatives do everything playclaw does & more. Absolutely not worth it, do not buy. Heck even if you get it for free somehow I'd still recommend using something else.
