Fun as hell. Server issues have been largely reduced to random disconnects and when it happens, you can usually rejoin without trouble. With additional content releases, this game could stand atop the PvE co-op shooter genre alongside games like Deep Rock Galactic and Left 4 Dead 2.

Baldur's Gate 3 is huge, complicated, and a wonderful representation of what makes a chaotic D&D campaign so magical. I won't pretend it's perfect: I encountered a fair few bugs, but nothing that was game-breaking or overly disruptive. I feel that character facial animations are often a bit stiff and odd-looking. I have some gripes with the story, mostly that certain companion NPCs have many more cutscenes than others.

HOWEVER. Baldur's Gate 3 is a sprawling RPG with dozens and dozens of quests, many opportunities for complicated and creative (or direct and incredibly violent) problem solving, and a story and characters that legitimately pulled me in. The combat is diverse and the devs did an incredible job of making fights feel unique. Vertical battlefields, complex mechanics, puzzle elements, and a staggering enemy variety make combat fun and interesting, and never like a chore. The depth of character creation is tremendous, with the ability to dip into multiple classes to your heart's content, and hundreds of magic items to shape a build how you want it. On top of it all, co-op is remarkably smooth, fun, and absolutely full of opportunities for shenanigans.

My first playthrough of the game took me about 90 hours to complete, and I'm already planning to start another one where I can hit story beats, dialogue options, and plot decisions I couldn't in my first playthrough. Put all of this together, add developers who are actively communicating with the community and working hard to support the game post-launch, and you've got a serious GOTY contender, and one of my favorite games I've ever played. Absolutely worth the price of admission, and a hearty recommendation from me.

There is a reason that the game only lets you play in a 1v1 up to five wins. You can get around that with mods and everything gets way out of hand almost instantly. Good fun! I recommend it, especially at the pretty cheap price.

This game is excellent. I would say it rivals genre capstones like Left 4 Dead 2 for it's coop swarm combat, and outstrips it in mechanics. Each class can do a little of everything, but each specializes in certain areas, and can further specialize with upgrades, perks, and overclocks. The procedural cave generation means missions don't get stale, and some of the large caves can be legitimately breathtaking. On top of all of that, the community is superb. I often play with randoms, and I never worry about someone being awful and ruining the experience. Experienced folks are often happy to help newcomers to the game, and the satisfaction of a well-executed mission is only rivaled by the heart-pumping, skin-of-your-teeth escapes. I highly recommend grabbing a copy. Rock and stone!

(No spoilers in this review, besides some things shown in your first 15ish minutes of gameplay)

You are trapped in a cabin. You are being forced by an insane man to play a card game, presumably of his own design. You can walk around the cabin. Did that card just talk to you? There are puzzles in the cabin. The man keeps track of the score with teeth. What is that pair of pliers for?

Inscryption is creepy, fun, bizarre, and manages to keep it's core gameplay loop fresh while still staying familiar enough that you don't have to relearn everything if you know the genre. It's challenging, while remaining approachable, and it's ominous and unnerving enough to draw you while not being so scary it's inaccessible to non-horror fans. I cannot recommend it enough. Stop reading reviews, go in blind, and don't look back.

A mechanically tight, fast paced, tough as heck (if you're a scrub like me), and fun as hell roguelite. And as if that wasn't enough, it's a Supergiant game through and through. Compelling characters, a bumping soundtrack, and a narrative explanation for everything (even the traditional roguelike elements) brings it all together into a worthy GOTY contender. Even if you're not generally a roguelite/like fan (I'm sure not) this game keeps you coming back. Enemies remember your last encounters, and personalities and relationships change run after run. That one guy getting cocky after he beats you a few times? Wipe that grin off his face, and watch his ego crumble. Hero of legend, huh? Not down here you aren't. This is my turf.

Fun as heck. Become a god, get overconfident, and get your clock cleaned by a jellyfish. 10/10

Fantastic. Supergiant Games has done it again. Now, this game is very different from Bastion and Transistor, so don't buy it just because you liked those two, but the music, art, characters, gameplay, and storytelling are all wonderful. I highly reccomend it if an experience with intense, fast paced action separated by beautiful visual novel-esque segments and worldbuilding sounds like a good time to you. It's longer than either of Supergiants other games, but it never gets tedious or boring. Overall, a fantastic game that I reccomend to all.

This game is fantastic. The combat, the world, the creatures, all of it is amazing. The final boss fight, the ending, its all amazing. I have a screenshot from a cinematic as my desktop backround right now. Now, if you don't enjoy turn based combat, this game might not be for you, but I still recomend picking it up on sale and giving it a go. WIthout a doubt one of the most visually stunning games I've played. Fantastic.

Fantastic.
Fairly short story, (I wrote this review just after finishing the main story), but long enough to feel full and complete. Amazing soundtrack with great atmospheric music. Combat is fun and fluid, and oftentimes just trading blow for blow will end up with you losing, so you need a bit more strategy based on your arsenal. The voice acting is really amazing, especially the narrator, and all characters you meet, even monsters, feel really fleshed out and have an intresting little backround.

FInal Verdict, Highly Reccomend
