I love these inspirational quotes by Mother Teresa :
“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” “I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things.” “I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter to the world." “Never travel faster than your guardian angel can fly.”
ABOUT FRIENDS REQUESTS : Even though Steam is filled with lots of great people, I seldom accept new requests now . So if I decline, please understand it usually has nothing to do with you personally. Everyone is still welcome to leave me comments and questions , or to trade with me - My trade link : https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/?partner=113233140&token=kxY1_Is8 , The reason is simply that I need to be able to reach most my friends, to e.g. wish them a happy weekend , e.g. to admire their art and screenshots , etc. If my list is too long, I am unable to do that, - unable to show everyone I care and appreciate them.
I am seldom very chatty , and I hardly ever share personal info online . You will see me on activity when I can, and sometimes in a little hello to your profile. I prefer single play, so don`t add me for multplaying. If you have a problem with race, religions, gender, - or have some other reason not to respect others for who they are, forget it. I am older than most of you, and married. So don`t flirt.
Respect is the base for all relations, always.
Whoever one is, and wherever one is, one is always in the wrong if one is rude. ~Maurice Baring~
ABOUT FAIRY-TALES of all kinds, e.g. gaming : "I believe there is something in Fairy-tales that does what singing does to words. They have transformational capabilities, in the way melody can transform mood. They can't transform your actual situation, but they can transform your experience of it. We don't create a fantasy world to escape reality, we create it to be able to stay. I believe we have always done this, used images to stand and understand what otherwise would be intolerable.” ~ Lynda Barry~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THE STOLEN CHILD
Where dips the rocky highland Of Sleuth Wood in the lake, There lies a leafy island Where flapping herons wake The drowsy water rats; There we've hid our faery vats, Full of berrys And of reddest stolen cherries. Come away, O human child! To the waters and the wild With a faery, hand in hand, For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
Where the wave of moonlight glosses The dim gray sands with light, Far off by furthest Rosses We foot it all the night, Weaving olden dances Mingling hands and mingling glances Till the moon has taken flight; To and fro we leap And chase the frothy bubbles, While the world is full of troubles And anxious in its sleep. Come away, O human child! To the waters and the wild With a faery, hand in hand, For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
Where the wandering water gushes From the hills above Glen-Car, In pools among the rushes That scarce could bathe a star, We seek for slumbering trout And whispering in their ears Give them unquiet dreams; Leaning softly out From ferns that drop their tears Over the young streams. Come away, O human child! To the waters and the wild With a faery, hand in hand, For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
Away with us he's going, The solemn-eyed: He'll hear no more the lowing Of the calves on the warm hillside Or the kettle on the hob Sing peace into his breast, Or see the brown mice bob Round and round the oatmeal chest. For he comes, the human child, To the waters and the wild With a faery, hand in hand, For the world's more full of weeping than he can understand.
FACTS ABOUT CHOCOLATE : Chocolate is a Vegetable ~Chocolate is derived from cacao beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar cane or sugar beets. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable.
To go one step further, Chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy. So candy bars are a health food.
:Chocolate-covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.
If you've got melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly.
The problem: How to get 2 pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car. ~The solution: Eat it in the parking lot. Diet tip: Eat a chocolate bar before each meal. It'll take the edge off your appetite, and you'll eat less. If calories are an issue, store your chocolate on top of the fridge. Calories are afraid of heights, and they will jump out of the chocolate to protect themselves. (We're testing this with other snack foods as well.)
If I eat equal amounts of dark chocolate and white chocolate, is that a balanced diet? Don't they actually counteract each other?
Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger. Therefore, you need to eat more chocolate. Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you'll get one thing done. A nice box of chocolates can provide your total daily intake of calories in one place. Now, isn't that handy?
If you can't eat all your chocolate, it will keep in the freezer. But if you can't eat all your chocolate, what's wrong with you?
THINGS YOU CAN LEARN FROM YOUR CAT :
Make the world your playground.
Whenever you miss the sandbox, cover it up. Dragging a sock over it helps.
If you can't get your way, lay across the keyboard till you do.
When you are hungry, meow loudly so they feed you just to shut you up.
Always find a good patch of sun to nap in.
When in trouble, just purr and look cute.
Life is hard, and then you nap
Curiosity never killed anything except maybe a few hours.
When in doubt, cop an attitude.
Variety is the spice of life. One day, ignore people; the next day, annoy them.
Climb your way to the top, that's why the curtains are there.
Make your mark in the world, or at least spray in each corner.
: Always give generously; a bird or rodent left on the bed tells them, "I care".
When you have something important to say, try to say it in the dead of night when you're *sure* everyone's sleeping. There's no better way to get the attention you deserve.
.... You read all this ??? Here , You deserve a ! Have a , and some
Fun ! Challenging ! Replayable ! Nice music ! Casual, rpg, Rogue-like, - the kind of game you say ; Just one more floor, and I`ll go to bed ...but you don`t , of course ;) Go to bed, I mean ;) Hours and hours and hours of gameplay, and some pretty hard achievements to reach ( I still have some left to take ). Not pretty, - but that sure does not matter in this game. Make a little effort to really get into RK, because it is worth it. This game is not as easy to understand as it seems at first glance . Happy gaming :)
