I'm recommending this game for the sole purpose that it's a functional and enjoyable product but hot damn, "easy and accessible to newcomers" is a great fat lie. The multiplayer will chew you up in this game, and I absolutely do not recommend wandering into the online mode unless you have veteran level experience in this genre.

This is a game that you will enjoy much more when playing with a friend that has as much practice as you do and having a grand ole time with it. The online is 100% for serious gamers, even the self-proclaimed "casual" lobbies.

Also, the keybinding is absolute wank. I know you're supposed to play this with a gamepad or one of those funny little arcade controllers but that is never an excuse to have awful keyboard controls.

The only reason this game isn't on my refund radar is because I have a friend who owns it and will play it with me, instead of having to continually throw myself into the multiplayer mode and getting thrown back out with seven new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
