Mean what you say, say what you know and know what you mean.
Why "Acolytes"?
Well, the word acolyte comes from the Greek word "akolouthos" which basically means "follower". It's also often used to refer to a fan of someone famous (no, I'm not famous quite yet... but one can hope!).
Why NOT "Apprentices"?
Apprentice specifically means a low skilled person who is learning a trade from an expert. Calling you all apprentices would imply that I'm better than you and from seeing many "lords", "gods" and "archmages" in my sub list, it wouldn't be right calling you apprentices at all. ;-)
