Gameplay-wise, it's a solid entry in the series, but story-wise it ignores nearly everything that made the first game good. I come to this IP for a funny, self-aware dumpster fire - not your standard, jrpg shounen anime plot. I kept hoping it'd get better but was ultimately disappointed. My advice? Go play the first one instead: it's basically the same game with better fundamentals.

Very Rogue-Like in execution. The translation's rough, but serviceable in most spots. All in all, I like it, especially at a fifteen dollar price-point.

A fun game with good visuals, a solid story and excellent voice acting. If it has any weakness it'd be that while solid in and of themselves the seriousness of the VA work is a little jarring when placed alongside the bright and adorable character designs.

A fun game with decent mechanics, an interesting spellcraft system and cute graphics. It's a little thin on the ground in terms of tile sets and story, but I enjoyed the ending. It needs an expansion in terms of content, but is otherwise satisfying.

I like it; it takes a lot of ques from Final Fantasy Tactics. The story could be better, but gameplay-wise it's pretty solid.
