Played over 1000+ hours, only because i love this setting. (18 century) About game:
- useless agents
- bad AI, that sometimes did very very stupid things
- worst sieges, that i saw in TW serie
- not many playable countries

P.S.Dear SEGA/CREATIVE ASSEMBLY - maybe time to create a TW game about 16-17 or 19 century setting?

Played 100 hours - don't saw more brainless camper game, like this one. Question arises - how people still playing this trash year by year?
This stupid brainless game also have most broken matchmaking, that I saw in video games! 90% of my games was versus +2 level enemies, that sometimes can destroy you tank with 2 shots) I thought, that option to play with +2 levels enemies can be disabled somewhere - but no, there is simply no such option)
Most "fun" is play PZ 4J (4 level tank) versus 6 level tanks - but we have one problem here - you can destroy this 6 level tanks only from super close range with super expensive armor piercing shells, plus 6 level tanks have somethimes 1000 hp and guns thay dealt 300+ damage from one corner of the map to other. And versus this beasts - developers offer to play you with a tank with 50 damage cannon and 500 hp - just no comments. Seems like developers just don't play this game - because matchmeking like this, can be only created by developers, that don't plays own game.
It's just awful! It's like giving one team in CS:GO - 1000 hp for each player with a normal weapons, and give for each player of opposite team - 25 hp for each player and only a knife from a weapon.
If you decide to leave game with +2 level enemies - after few leaves game will ban you - because you must be frag for some +2 level idiot...
Now played this trash, and understand - why some people troll other saying "Are you idiot or WoT player?"

Cool!!!

I veteran and huge fan of Baldur's Gate serie. Since 2001, I have completed this game dozens of times. Also, i don't like Icewind Dale games serie, because this serie is just a tactical battles simulator (with linean scenario).

So what we have here?
- the full linearity of the game (the mission is not possible to skip, or choose other mission).
- totally broken romances (99%, that player never finish any romance), вecause some "brilliant mind" decided to tie romantic dialogues not to the time spent in the game, but to the locations...
- huge holes in game scenario (Most brainless hole - is when Caelar Argent asks the coalition commanders to give her the main character for a couple of days, and promises to return him safe and sound - but the commanders refuses her - after this, big battle begins. But as it turned out, she needed only a drop of the protagonist's blood. The question arises - why not ask for a drop of blood at a meeting with the coalition command???)
- an atmosphere of complete despondency and hopelessness. After game start we totally lose Imoen (In BG 2 SOA we lose Imoen for half of game, and in this addon some "brilliant mind" diceded to remove her totally from game too)
After this, we will lost all money, that we have from BG1 (serriosly??)
- ending of the addon - the WORST THAT I SAW in video games (+-30 years experience gamer), even WORST, that ending of Mass Effect 3.

IMHO, this addon must be named like Icewind dale: Siege of Dragonspear
This addon may be good as free to play – but I definitely can't recommend buying it, especially for fans of classic games - BG1 and BG2.

The first game in the epic RPG serie. Since 2001, I have completed this game dozens of times.
+ You have a main mission in this game, but before this mission, you can do what you want.
+ Excellent balance between combat quests and other types of quests.
+ Perfectly created game world, especially cities like Baldur's Gate and Beregost.
+ In the Enchanced Edition, the Tales of Sword Cost add-on is available in the game.
+- Great number of different locations. It's too much. IMHO of course. (In BG2 this problem is fixed)
+- 29 possible companions (25 from the base game and 4 new from the Enchanced Edition). It's too much. IMHO of course. (In BG2 this problem is fixed)
- Strange system of dual clases.

Icewind dale 1, or like i call Icewind dale games serie - Baldur’s Gate: Tactics - is a good game in Forgotten Realms setting. Many players put this game alongside Baldurs Gate 1 and Baldurs Gate 2, but this is not right, because this game is not like these games - it's a tactical combat game, in which the basis - the battles with the enemies, because of this, there is almost no dialogues system.
The game has a large number of drawbacks critical for me, because i a Baldur’s Gate serie fan:
– the full linearity of the game (the mission is not possible to skip, or choose other mission).
– poorly thought-out system of experience obtaining (although in the game of 30 levels – getting at least levels 20-23 with 6 members in team – it is almost impossible (I finished at normal difficulty main game and all addons with 6 heroes - obtained +-18 millions of expirience)
– no music in taverns :(
– enemies, that in some locations simply fall on the players' heads, or appear from nowhere (Seems like game designers was a problems with ideas for this game), but not in terrible numbers, like in brainless Icewind dale 2.

So don't expect many from this game.
All veterans of Baldurs Gate, Fallout 1 and 2, may try to play Baldur’s Gate: Tactics 1.

Game was won at Steamgifts.
Very strange feelings after this game play. First of all, after finish "New home" scenario, I instantly deleted this game. This game has few drawbacks, critical for me, like:
1. Huge holes in game setting. Humans go to hide from great cold snap not at equator, or at south – people in this game go to north... It's like hiding from a global flood in the Mariana Trench, or flying away to Sun – hiding from global warming.
2. An atmosphere of complete despondency and hopelessness. Especially soundtrack – аfter a few hours of playing, this music is no longer possible to listen.
3. The weird approach of the game designers to the game. Making a game about global cooling, they could not even understand that people will be forced to live underground due to global cooling, and not like idiots under the open sky at a temperature of -70 Celsius.
And the most interesting thing – what kind of animals do hunters hunt in this game at a temperature of -70 or -80 Celsius? At such temperatures, all animals have already died of cold.
4. Now is 2021, and for some reason the developers decided to remove the option to continue playing in the campaign after completing the main mission of the scenario. Maybe not developers will decide whether the players want to continue playing the campaign or not – but the players themselves?

The game for me has become another of the category "played a little and forgot forever." The game may be good as free to play – but I definitely can't recommend buying it.
