Early Access Review
The freelance developers working for the creator (Alex Fundora) have said that he hasn't made contact for a long time and he owes them a lot of money.

I'll tell you what's wrong with it. It's dead, that's what's wrong with it!

This game is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet its maker! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! If they hadn't bribed the review sites it'd be pushing up the daisies! It's off the twig! It's kicked the bucket, it's shuffled off its mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleeding choir invisible! This is an ex-game!

0/10 worst purchase I ever made, don't buy this steaming pile of dinosaur dung. If you want dinosaurs, get Primal Carnage: Extinction or better yet just go to a museum (note to English users - the Natural History Museum in London is free and has way more dinosaurs, better graphics, better FPS, better lighting, interactive NPCs, realistic hunger system and more).

I'm very happy with this game. It might be an early access bug-fest, but you can tell that the devs have put work into ironing out the issues with the original.

A lot of people are unhappy about buying a new game when the old devs promised an update. I see the problem, but the game is under new management. How can the new devs make any money from a game they can't sell?

Also, there are plenty of new features. There's lots of new maps ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, an economy system and the teams are finally balanced. You don't automatically get the most kills if you play the T-Rex now.

Yes, there are a few issues, but the game isn't finished. I, for one, am thoroughly enjoying it. I give it a 9/10 and hope that the future developments push that score up further!

Be warned: playing this game will make all your friends hate you and you will never go outside again.

Don't try the multiplayer, you will become a genocidal maniac.

Also Gandhi is really violent.

It's pretty good, but be warned that the story is kind of short and not that great.
The Nemesis system is fun and improves through the course of the game.
There's not a lot to do when you finish besides getting the achievements. You end up killing orcs over and over again until they're all under your control, then you have to kill them all and start over.
Having said all this, the game is fun and I'd say it is worth the £30.

7.5/10

This game is an absolute masterpiece.

It might be quite buggy and limited in terms of gameplay, but I have never enjoyed a game more than Primal Carnage.

It is a lot like Team Fortress 2 but without the annoying community, hackers and general mediocre game experience. Also it has dinosaurs, so there's that.

The sequel coming out on December 3rd (Primal Carnage: Extinction) is going to fix the bugs and add tonnes of new content. The only reason not to buy Primal Carnage is that the sequel is coming out very soon.

I give this game a solid 10/10 for how much I have enjoyed it. Thank you Lukewarm Media for making this game. I just hope that Circle 5 Studios and Pub Games can live up to their predecessor.
