Here's my opinion about SK:

PROS:

- Great intro, one of the best I've seen so far.
- The art style in this game is really good and unique. It's like a combination between Legend of Zelda and Chibi.
- Great, atmospheric music.
- Solid gameplay.
- Friendly community.
- Shadow Lairs.
- Intriguing story. (Can't wait for the other rank missions!)
- Can be really fun when playing with friends.
- It is indeed a F2P. You can obtain most of the weapons and the equipment and even cosmetics by paying no money. But it'll get harder. Trust me, it will.

CONS:

- After you become a Vanguard, things can get pretty dull.
- Game encourages you to grind. And by that, I mean a LOT of grinding.
- Connection problems. (Note: if you're from Australia or somewhere in Asia, expect a lot of trouble playing this game.)
- Can sometimes get boring.
- Not much activity when it comes to content.
- Price boxes. A CRAP-TON of Costume price boxes.
- SEGA. Crap.

FINAL VERDICT:

I'll give this game a 8.5/10.
It's not a flawless gem, but it's a solid game that can bring you lots of joy.
And while I don't really play SK that much nowadays like I once did before (problably it has to do with the lack of content and school, of course), I can say that Spiral Knights has a special place in my heart.
Met lots of great people, had tons of fun, joined a great guild (League of Gunners) and so on.

So yeah, that's pretty much my opinion about it.
I know it's not really detailed, but whatever.

Thank you for reading!

Yours truly,
Mordekai the Summoner (Siliuser in SK)

P.S: To all of my friends I've met in SK and are reading this,
Thank you and love you all, fellas :3

UPDATE: 13th of April, 2016 (I know, a bit late announcing this news.)

Spiral Knights has now been bought by Gray Havens (a company formed by former employers of OOO). Spiral Knights has been finally released from the greedy clutches of SEGA.

Let's hope for the best for Gray Havens and may them bring this once fun game back to it's former glory.

We are counting on you, Gray Havens!
