Short and sweet. Art style is charming. Humor and randomness won't be for everyone, but its a fun little Zelda-inspired adventure with plenty of personality. Not particularly challenging, but its worth the couple of hours you'll put in if you like top down Zelda style games and quirky humor.

A short, but incredibly charming rogue-lite. Use of a controller seemed a bit clunky, but nothing severe. Good for short bursts of play, but easy to binge. Wish the town feature had been something closer to the original intent, since it just feels like a near-pointless tack-on at this point, but the core gameplay is solid and fun. Good animation and lots of personality. Recommend checking it out.

A largely well-made choose-your-own-adventure with a noir graphic novel style (which I absolutely love). This is a game that oozes mood and tone, and fans of the crime genre will find a lot to like. I'd personally recommend it, despite the negatives. As for the negatives;

- Bugs. This game can be rather buggy at times; boxes not clicking properly, random lag, wrong portaits displaying, and general optimization stuff, but nothing game-breaking,. I've heard stories of choices not carrying over, and while I didn't experience that, myself, I did notice a few occassions of the post-credit summary accusing me of making calls that I didn't make (though the story seemed to continue on with the proper choices in place). Crashes during the end credits happened after each episode, but fortunately that was the only time. The only major bug I encountered was during episode 3, wherein I would be instantly exited from a screen before I could interact with the elevator keypad. Returning to the character who pointed me toward it and talking to them again seemed to solve this.

- No rewind or chapter feature within individual episodes, and certain scenes can't be skipped, so if you want to do something different or better, be prepared to play the whole episode over.

- Episode 3's second half drastically escalates things somewhat out of nowhere in a way that feels rushed and disjointed at the experence of characterization. It doesn't ruin the whole experience, but unfortunately it comes off like the sort of pigeon-holing that can remind the player that there's only so much 'choice' to be had, which is unfortunate given the rest of the game. There's some build to what happens, but even with some seeds planted beforehand, the actual climax feels sudden and out of step with the rest of the game, and the endings do more to set up for Season 2 than provide any closure or satisfaction to the player.

Despite all the above, I still very much enjoyed this series, and will be picking up any future installments should they arrive. If you're a fan of the crime genre or interactive fiction, check it out.

Great aesthetic and animations with simple but well-made and addictive gameplay. While the similarities to things like Terraria and Starbound are largely superficial (there is mining but no crafting or block placement), anyone who enjoys those, Metroidvania style platforming and puzzles, and even games like Rogue Legacy should definitely give this a shot.

A short but well-made and fun adventure game that manages to tell a good story while remaining consistently moody and genuinely spooky. There are some problems with the English here and there, but nothing that will confuse. An impressive effort by a developer I hope to see more from. Check it out!

I picked this up at a friend's insistence with some hesitance. I'm not big on online multiplayer, to be honest. That said, I can't remember the last time I was so happy to have been mistaken. Don't let the look fool you; this game will show you just what a terrible liar you can be. The sort of game that you'll get several hours of play out of for very little investment.

A fun, clever, and surprisingly addictive game that will have you dying and coming back for more. It's difficult to find a game to compare it to; it definitely owes a lot to the interactive fiction genre, but there's roguelike elements here as well. Definitely a unique experience.

As a fan of the original Fallout and its sequel, this feels like the real follow up to the games I love (for good reason, considering Obsidian had a lot of the old Black Isle crew working on this). With tons of content, choices, and approaches to the various characters and quests you'll encounter, along with numerous endings, this is far more of an RPG in both mechanics and overall philosophy than its direct predecessor or follow up (though I enjoy both 3 and 4 for the sandboxes they are), but not in such a way as to render it offputting to fans of the Bethesda games. If you enjoyed Fallout 1 and 2, you'll likely enjoy this. If you enjoyed Fallout 3, this is built in the same engine, so this will be very familiar in terms of mechanics and look, albeit with some additions and refinements, so I suspect you'll feel right at home. The graphics haven't aged all that well, but if that isn't a deal-breaker for you, then I can't recommend this game enough. One of my absolute favorite games. Pick it up.

The simplest answer is this; if you love Harvest Moon or Rune Factory, you'll love this. If you hate Harvest Moon, then there likely isn't much here for you. The game is well made with lots to do, graphics are good, there are several different approaches one can take to making money, and the creator continues to offer updates and support. Easily as good as any official Harvest Moon entry and, in my opinion, one of the most well-constructed indy games on steam. Absolutely recommend.
