I don't mind iOS ports too much, and while I admire the concept Jack Lumber presents (think Fruit Ninja crossed with connect the dots and bullet time), the core gameplay requires a lot of precision and not a lot of room for error, which is a bit of a problem when playing with a mouse. It's easy during the first 3 or 4 levels, but soon after you're required to get through each minichallenge without screwing up, or else your score won't be high enough to advance.

Once the game starts introducing conditions to finish the challenge, such as cutting through misshapen logs or fast spinning ones, the game loses its charm quickly. The time window they give is very brief, and the more that is thrown at you, the less you can keep up. There are options to purchase 1 use items that can give you a slight edge, but none that I have found or unlocked so far gives me anything permanent, nor extend the amount of time I have to cut. If I had this for the systems it was designed for I imagine I would love it. The art style is great, the humor solid, and the nuances an interesting touch. However, it was not meant for the PC, and those who are looking for laidback fun like this game promises will quickly become irritated.

Don't bother, or at the very least, get it on something with a touchscreen.
