I have played Destiny 2 constantly because of lockdown this past year and before that on and off since D2 release. I love this game so much and want it to do well, sometimes love Bungie themselves, but I have no idea what was going through their brains with removing this much from the game.

Positives:

- Story missions take longer to finish which if you are a new player is great, but I have seen for me or other veterans, they were still quick in someways.
- The new class is a lot of fun (When I first tried it out was the best) but I do miss my Void Vanish as a Hunter Main :p
- The new planet is beautiful and fun to explore
- The whole story was a great concept and I loved the whole plot. (Even if it felt like a copy of the Forsaken plot).
- The new engine has made the graphics feel new and fresh, colours seem bright and full. I love that part the most.

Negatives:

- Bungo went way to far this time with Sunsetting. Seasonal gear should NOT be sunset, some of my favourite weapons are now mostly useless and took away some of my enjoyment of the game.
- The DLC's story was good but it didn't FEEL like a DLC campaign. I didn't have enough meat to it, not enough to get your teeth into. I was going through I expecting something crazy to happen but that never really happened for me :/
- I bought the £60 version of the DLC and I feel massive regret because it's not even worth the standard price. The money I have spent on this game this year coming to now feels like a waste with how much Bungo has disappointed me.
- I recently had a friend of mine get into D2 this month. What they have done to free-to-play is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You get no campaigns and playing the FTP campaign you get at the start of playing is mostly grind. If you want to play Crucible or Gambit you are just gonna get rekt because Statis has made Crucible a mess right now. What they have done to FTP is evil in my opinion. I played Forsaken with him and he didn't get to feel any connection to the story because all of the old stories were removed. It was pretty much, "who even is Cayde-6" for him.
- Vaulting a bunch of gear is like a big punch in the face for me. Working for hours and hours through interesting quests and difficult quests for it to now just be put into a store that you repetitively grind for. I understand you want to save space but games are getting bigger now, its just the way it is. One of the biggest PVP games out there right now is nearly 260GB and Bungie is scared of D2 going over 100GB. I PAID FOR THAT DLC GEAR & CONTENT!!!
- The season pass seems very easy to ignore this time.
- The devs don't seem to be active with the community as much as they used to anymore, I know with the pandemic it's hard to be, but with how much was counting on this DLC being good. I feel listening to us would have helped you a lot.
- As I said before, Crucible is a big mess with new gear and stasis being OP.
- Gambit has been stripped down and even it's director is sad to look at.
- This may just be me, but new quests now seem more grindy than before to try and drag out content. Grinding was never something I liked but in Destiny, I was okay with it because other reasons helped make it more enjoyable.
- My favourite RAIDS were removed and you can just "one-phase" the new raid boss anyway which doesn't make it that enjoyable.

I should have listened to myself when I said "No Pre-orders". It seems past-me let me down because I totally regret getting it now and the season pass. If the DLC goes on sale for a decent price, I say get it but for £30+ it isn't worth it. What have you done Bungie.
