I would only recommend this game after it is patched and expanded. As a vicky 2 fan I would say that this game is an improvement for sure, there is so much more gameplay content than Victoria 2 and the society and political aspects of this game are a lot more in-depth than any other PDX game. Despite the good foundation the main problem of the game is the lack of replay value or any flavor, I've only played a few campaigns (as Quebec, Belgium, Japan, Wallachia) and each of them have their individual challenges and unique position in the world but they all lack any historical flavor or unique events. Every nation could be the same because you will only get the same few events over and over again about interest groups or factories. I'm satisfied with the game and my purchase but I completely sympathize with the people who hate it, products should not release like this.

Play if you want to understand the passion and ambitions of a young man from Corsica, the ultimate male fantasy of conquest.

Only buy on humble bundle, price on steam is ridiculous

Game is great but emulate the dreamcast version instead, the graphics for this and the gamecube suck.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, this is my first devil may cry game and i have to say the story recap is pretty subpar. even on the easy difficulty im still getting nothing but dismal ranks and been dying a lot. This type of game might have been good in the ps2 era but now its just out of date and boring, buy sekiro or DmC:Devil May Cry instead.
