Glorious melee ultra-violence

Solid game to hop on and play in small bursts.
Button-mashy melee combat. Can unlock some wrestling moves for survivors as they "level up".
Satisfying enough shooting mechanics.
Slow and boring looting.
Very easy and basic stealth.
Addicting loop of scavenging, killing and building up your base.
Survivor quests can be located in inconvenient areas and some are timed so that sucks.

Good game
Fun combat (does get a little repetitive towards the end)
Compelling characters to get invested in (takes a bit to get invested but stick with it and you'll love the characters by the end)
Really good story, solid start, ending drags itself a bit.
Gorgeous graphics, will need a good rig to run. I ran it fine with a 3070 ti.
Price of admission is a bit high for a 18 to 20 hour game. (I stuck around for a few conversations, collectables and outfits)
I reckon $40 is a worthy price for this game.

Finished it on PS4. Phenomenal game, great characters, emotional story, fun combat, jaw-dropping visuals. Just an amazing experience from start to finish, I wished I could experience it for the first time again. Hoping Ragnarok comes to PC too.

Only paid for it because I enjoyed the game enough but another reason is I ran out of space in my stash I kinda needed this. Only paying for this once and never again. Some of the free cosmetics are nice but its not worth paying for this every month.
