If there's one thing The Long Dark set out to do, it was a feeling of isolation, adn it sucsceeded, when I play the game I feel like no one else is out there(if you can get past the frozen corpses) and all I have is myself, and whatever wildlife happens to be there. The game is brutal, but in a good way, I feel like I'm always looking for food, water, and shelter, I never feel like I have enough, but I can't carry it all, it's a good feeling for a survival game. All in all, I highly recomend it, but with one major problem, there is no way to tell where you are on the map, normally in a survival game, that's good, but in The Long Dark, everything just looks far too similar, every time I go somewhere I can't tell if I've been there before, it's very easy to get lost, and needs to be fixed somehow, something as basic as making the areas of the terrian look a little more diffrent.

amazing game its almost worth buying just to hear the soundtrack with addvaced edition... my god just buy it so worth the 10 bucks
