About SteelSeries

SteelSeries was founded in 2001 by Jacob Wolff-Petersen. From the start, the company has sold a variety of products at high prices for top-notch satisfaction from gamers. A common practice of SteelSeries is to form partnerships with professional gaming teams and to sponsor events and individual players. On occasion, players from their top teams may even arrange to cooperate and customise gaming gear to be sold on the market. Currently, SteelSeries sponsors such teams as SK Gaming, MeetYourMakers, Evil Geniuses, fnatic, and FireGamers.
On July 29, 2008 SteelSeries announced its acquisition of certain assets in Ideazon, Inc. a North American-based developer and manufacturer of gaming peripherals and technologies.
