There are pros and cons in this game. But let's start with the good once.
1) The story is so brutally good and the acting and scripting is so good it could be from NaughtyDog.
The protagonist reminds me a bit of Vin Diesel with his killer looks and that makes me hype.
2) The animation in combat is handled very well, once you stop shooting and run for cover, your characters footwork is really good.
3) AI characters are amazing, different personalities for every character. You can really feel the rage inside you when the shopkeepers says "no n***** allowed in here, boy"
4) Vehicles and radio. I have huge interests in cars when it comes to real life and video games, and this game makes it amazing at it. All of the cars have a nice look. You can see similuar cars like Chevrolets, Ford and all the way to a Volkswagen Beetle! The handling is just like they would handle in real life (Just like in the old movies aswell). And the radio really makes you vibe when you cruise down New Orleans. They did a good job on that one.

And now for the cons...
1) Graphics, it's poor and blurry.. Really dissapointing, the were good at fooling us in the trailers by just showing us most of the cutscenes (Which is really rich and colorful)
2) Miss most of the small details and options you had in the second game. Where you could interact with clothing stores, bars and restaurants to even fill up your tank at the gas station!
Not only that but also you can get wanted for speeding, and THAT is immersive as f***!
Of course you have safehouses but not real estate which really sucks...
3) Same grinding missions over and over. Mr. Clay I have a mission for you, kill all those sons of b***** and collect that document. Mr. Clay, can you kill that person? Mr. Clay, you have to sneak into that building and kill that man.
Yes it is boring and annoying, I wish we could have more different kind of destroying turfs than just doing the same sneaky peaky combat thingy.

As for the new DLC
1) Too short. Didn't they say it was 6 hours to finish? I did it in 2 hours...
2) Characters. The new cop villian makes me want to crush his skull to thousands of pieces, and I rarely think of that in any types of videogames (except for naughtydog) And that is a good thing!
3) Loots of jumping, offroading and racist cops. The cops in this dlc is worse than the cops in GTA V, they don't give a zero f*** to smash you to pieces with their cars. A little bit annoying...

Do I recommend this game?

If you like retro vintage stylish games, then go for it.
So.. for my rating I'll give it a 8/10 for the great story and scripting. And for the rich enviroment.
