Hands down Dota2 has the greatest depth, gameplay variety, most different game experiences from one game to another.

+ It has the most hyped moments, the most impressive plays, the funniest fails,
+ It is more friendly to a wide range of ages, whether your strong points are quick and mechanically complicated plays or whether you are not as quick but you have patience and you are strategic, methodical.
+ The game graphics support its "meaty" gameplay feel, ultimate abilities have a huge impact.
+ There are a lot of heroes and they are wildly different and unique.
+ All the heroes are free there is no paywall, no real pay to win, it's only pay to look fancy and sparkly.
+ The items are also unique and impactful, these are not straight power-ups, these are solutions to problems your team faces or will face (Dota also provides in game ability to follow other player-created builds that work out very well 90% of the games)
+ Huge modding scene.
+ Watching replays of your own games or anyone else's games or watching pro matches or just watching high-ranked player matches is super easily accessible.
+ there are multiple alternative game mods you can play, they offer a unique way of playing and secretly help you learn the game better
+/- The game is receiving updates, some are negatively received other ones are very welcomed, the changes specifically after longer periods of not playing- can be very refreshing but they can also make you feel fallen out of the loop.

- Patience is required, if you have non you will suffer till you learn it.
- If you don't already play MOBA games- you will have to be able to overcome your worst version of yourself to succeed or just to be able to have fun with the games whether you win or lose.
- Your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will be painfully apparent to you and to anyone else who is watching, you will occasionally singlehandedly lose the whole game.
- People will be critical of your mistakes, tho that is hardly a rare thing in competitive team games/sports.
- it takes couple thousand hours to start to feel that you are somewhat competent at the game on the upside- you are never bored.
- Anyone can and will make mistakes in this game.

From my point of view, Dota is the most fleshed out and the most fun MOBA to play, nothing stands close to it.

Easy to get in to and more fun then I anticipated, also has more depth then I anticipated

To start I might already mention it as many before, as a person who enjoyed a lot first 2 fallout games I do enyoj this game very much. Why?

1. It has enjoyable and clear CHARACTER CREATION, you choose and make your crafted characters to fit a specific roles. If you like some theory crafting then you will enyoj crafting your own core 4 characters, if not you can choose the presets. thought it is not as complicated as the ones in fallouts.
2. The actual COMBAT is more like the one in Xcom thought not as thight and combat orientated, still enjoyable with potential of some annoyances which comes of how the combat starts(I might have missed something) but as far I know combat starts when you hit enemy or when enemy spots you and attacks you unless you construct a character so it will always see enemy way before hi sees youand can realiably set up fights for your team. Also some unclearances about field of wiev if you use high cover. For some maybe combat would be slightly too boring, which has a higher chance of happening if you are playing on the easy difficulty.
3. The ingame GRAPHICS might not be as good as some might want them from 2014, it varies from place to place.
4. The interactable Characters, NARRATIVE, NPC dialogs, impact of chouses in quests and dialog choises is there, and creates great feel of emmersion.I havn't finished the game but as far I have goten to I would say that they have nailed everything about this section, even the voice acting that is there is very damn good(and I have to mention that in the old-school spirit most of dialogs are in text mode only) also the humor is pretty good.
5. Seems that they have fixed most of quest bugs during beta (havn't experienced any bugs this far).

TO SUM UP
If you love the RPG and general story side of these kind of games (like fallout games),
if you like tactical turn based combat with randomness aspect, if you like crafting characters (making your own roles) some theory crafting this is THE game for you.
