Huge fan of this game. I like how one of the main mechanics is that you can control basically what people do, but now how they feel and interact with each other. Recent Beta release added a bunch of new content. As a Linux user I appreciate that it's supported, and I've yet to run into any game breaking bugs. Even minor issues are fixed quickly and those have been fairly rare for me.
The procedural nature of the game makes every playthrough unique. The drama and stories that I come up with to explain the colonists actions is part of why I enjoy it so much. I once had a horribly ugly colonist with poor social skills. Everyone would pick on her but the thing was, she was by far the best melee combatant in the colony. Once in a while someone would say the wrong thing, and she'd just pound the crap out of them. She was also the doctor so afterwards she'd be the one to patch them up.
If you enjoy colony and base building type games I would highly recommend.

Faithful to the original. Improved my skills when playing with my friends as an added bonus.

That's my original review from a year ago. In the last year this game has gotten so much better. New ffeatures, bug fixes and improvements are so frequent. If you like Zombie Survival games you need to play this. I can't say enough good things about this game. I can't wait to see what's in store for 4.0.

Previously had this as a would not recommend review because of bug issues on linux. These have all been taken care of in the latest build.

I've had this game for a while now, but it didn't really click with me until recently. I'm starting to get the hang of it now but It's definitely a difficult game. Zombie dogs are the worst.

I think this is a great game. Although it's the little things though that really make me love it. For example, I've started naming all of the dogs that I find.

All hail the goat. Do not mock the goat. The goat will trash your party.

I like to watch the mountain.

Got hooked pretty hard on this one. Fun for a quick fix.

It's frickin' Portal. It's great and one of my favourite games of all time.
