Adding yourself here allows you to stay up to date on Gaming and Community related information. This includes being notified of every Valve Game update as soon as they're released. Being here also allows you to track our servers & take part in community events.
Founded in 2005, BOOM! is a World-wide Gaming community based on the West Coast of the US (Los Angeles, Ca.). Our members always do their best to get along with others. We welcome all gamers who want a place to relax and chat to sign up on our website too.
BOOM! owns its own high-powered dedicated server box to host its own game servers on. The server box is optomized for the highest performance possible & is carefully loaded & monitored so it runs beautfully. We also pay to use gameME.com to collect player & server stats. We also protect our servers from cheaters & dicks using various advanced cheat-protection plugins & a global banning system. Cheating or being an ass on one of our servers WILL result in a perma-ban from all of them!
With the exception of our custom TF2 Mario Kart DM and Achievement/Idle servers, all of our TF2 servers are registered with Valve and meet their strict requirements. This gives us much higher player traffic in them as compared to other servers so they remain full of players. The more people who play, the higher the rank the servers receive & the more players will be routed to them with Valve's Quickplay system. So bookmark them and play with us often.
All we ask of you if you decide to play with us is to be cool and follow our basic rules, NEVER cheat and don't act like a douchebag to other players.
