This is, with a few caveats, a retro game done right. highly reccomended to any fans of the NES/SNES/Arcade side scrolling shooter genre.

• Variety of weapons and runes to be unlocked
  
• Stage and enemy variety is high, with the exeption of an end game boss rush no palette swapping
  
• Variety of unlocks and items for sale
  
• Overall fun enjoyable shooter experience

Cons

• Overall a short game
  
• No replay value once beaten on epic difficulty
  
• Unlocks don't feel nessecary at all, and one of the first weapons you will get is the most useful
  
• Something of a downer ending for an otherwise lighthearted game
  
• Experienced gamers will find it easy even of epic difficulty

Overall highly reccoemended on a sale and even at full price for fans of retro shooters, it will give you an entertaining afternoon, but don't expect to play through it more than once.
