Extremely satisfying retro-arcade style game with a surprising amount of depth and replayability.

A phenomenal combination of rewarding technical gameplay, beautiful atmosphere and visuals, and an exciting open world to explore. If you found the Dark Souls series was not for you, I'd still suggest you give this a try, the differences are night and day. 10/10, and I don't give that rating lightly.

A fantastic tribute to the old-fashioned isometric RPGs, with the modern quality of life improvements that take away tedium.

It's a heavily exploration and conversation-focused game (in my opinion), which I consider to be a compliment. The choices you can make in the game feel very meaningful, like my roleplaying choices actually matter. Numenera is a very weird setting full of colorful characters, and while it's obviously not Planescape (it's obvious inspiration and namesake), the way the setting treats itself walks the line between straight-faced and absurd perfectly.
