"Cradle", a production of the independent Ukranian studio Flying Cafe for Semianimals, is an upcoming first person adventure game. It features a slowly unravelling backstory framed with puzzle elements and interactive environments.
"Flying Cafe" is an indie studio in the Ukraine whose developers boast experience with titles such as Stalker and Heroes of Might and Magic.
Cradle places the player in the far-off steppes of Mongolia, with elements of cultures East and West, and periods from future and past mixed in together interchangably. The player character lives in a small yurt - a sort of nomadic hut of Mongolia's cultural heritage - with his robotic girlfriend, who, for reasons initially uncertain, has slowly lost her mechanical functions. The player will, through the course of the game, restore her capabilities through puzzles and through the exploration of the steppes surrounding.. including that park..
Not too far off in the hills, a broken down amusement park shimmers with modern festivities and secrets alike. What is its past? What is its relation to Ida, your robotic companion? What secrets does she hold?
Cradle is in early development, and needs your votes to succeed in Steam Greenlight! Make sure to vote for and favorite Cradle and tell your friends! You can find links for Cradle's Greenlight page on the right.
