Charlie is a hidden and lonely ammo box in Gravelpit in TF2. This is the full story:


Let me tell you a story.
Be warned though! It may be the saddest one you have ever heard.

Once upon a time, there was an ammo pack.... his name was Charlie.
Charlie stood guard bravely every day, right at the bottom of the Gravelpit Spire.
Many Engineers collaborated with Charlie to build Sentries and stack the Tower and its surroundings with buildings, to build a strong, fortified position.

But then one day, it was noticed the attacking team had so much trouble capturing the Spire, that the gaming company which had created the Gravelpit, called Valve, was forced by the BLU team to take away their strongest and best man they had available. Which was of course our good ol' friend: Charlie.

Valve was too heartbroken to ever take someone like Charlie away, so instead they compromised and put a layer of dirt over Charlie, sealed away never to help the RED Team again, for the sake of balancing the game.

Now, Charlie is still laying down there, at the bottom of the Spire, just watching the Teams as they fight for control over the Spire, Gravelpit's last point.... Never able to help, never being able to protect his friends, never to be seen by the players. A forgotten, lonely ammo pack....
