Once you get the sin mechanic, it's the best solo/co-op horror game.

It's one of the best piece of art i've ever played.

Leggit prequel to "Visceral cleanup detail"

When I was a kid, my father and I played the demo a lot, hours and hours in the tutorial zone (the snow village) learning every nook and cranny of this area to get the best time.

And then my dad bought the big box day one, but sadly our computer was waaay too weak to support the voxel tech and the graphics. It was impossible to play.
We were disappointed, but eh, ♥♥♥♥ happens.

Since this day I've never played the demo again, but in the back of my brain I kept the memories and a dream.
A dream about an open world filled with talktative NPC,a cool hero and an epic quest to save an unknown world.

You know what makes me think it was a good game ? When I was a kid the simple demo made my father and I dream. Just the demo. Leaving a mark in our minds for eternity.

Now I can play this dream.

And I'm pretty happy.

[EDIT] I have way too little hours in this version for the review I have dropped as pointed in a comment, it's true.
It's not due to this game being bad, more like a lack of free time and a brand "new" version called "Outcast the Second Contact" a full remastered version of this game that I recommend more than this one.
Give Outcast a chance, 1.1 or second contact.

15 min to fight against 2146697208 error code, launcher black screen and EULA screen bug, and when I find the way out, I get the 2146697208 again.

This 1st quest was epic.

This game is pretty much like the life.

Now I can see the world frame per frame.
