I know this has been out for awhile, but I recent;y picked it up and decided to give it a try. I really enjoy Tower Defense games, and Defense Grid 1 was great. Defense Grid 2, seems to be a worthy successor with a few upgraded aliens, some new graphics, good sound, excellent writing, superb voice acting, well balanced maps, and some neat tower upgrades. I've seen reviews that say it's just a re-hash of the first one, and I guess about 90% of the gameplay is the same, but that sure didn't douse my enthusiasm or diminish the fun I've had playing the first 10 levels of the campaign. In short, if you liked the first one, this is a worthy successor. If you haven't played the first one and you're not sure you want to plop down the cash, go try Defense Grid 1 out first. It's a cheaper investment and you can catch up on the story before sitting down in the middle of this one.

I suck at instruments and music. I have tin ears and sausages for fingers, and even I can get into the 80% range with only casual playing on some of the easier songs. I love this game. I had to play with the audio a little on this laptop, but the game plays great once tweaked out. I'd give 10 stars out of 5 if I could ;)

This is a cute game, with a nice bit of thought required and some strategy to boot. Well rounded gameplay with a lot of upgrade combinations to experiment with and perfect will keep this game replayable.

Well worth the money!

One of these days, in the far future, I will be able t make my first cup of tea. It will be warm, and sweet and I shall savor the victory. I LOVE this game, but if you're easily frustrated, this may not be the game for you. Took me 3 sessions and about an hour hour to be able to grab a cup, drop a tea packet in it and attempt to put hot water in it. That being said, I like the concept, gameplay, physics, and simplicity of the game.

Of course, if you do get frustrated, you can always just smash everything in the room and start over. :)
